Don’t do it. I love southern food and had to give this place a try. Made sure I went early to get the fresh stuff. Ordered the salisbury steak, collards with pork, mac & cheese and gumbo. The salisbury steak looked good, but was bland and under cooked. Two bites and had to stop. Takes a lot to get me to pass on food that early and I HATE to waste food, but this made me very nervous to finish. Mac & cheese had no flavor and tons of processed cheese. The collards are old, dry and doesn’t taste good. Probably the worst collards I’ve ever had. Didn’t finish these either. The cornbread muffin was decent, but their not making their own cornbread. The gumbo was from the other day. The girl told me it was cold, so it was at least a day old. I was in such a mode to try it, I ordered it anyways. After eating the other food, I think it’s too much of a gamble to try. This place needs so serious help. There’s no one in here from Mississippi cooking this food. It’s done cheaply in bulk that sits under heat lamps too long. This way of cooking only works when they move the food fast and that’s not happening here. Major disappointment. Would love some quality Mississippi food here.

Gross ratchet greasy food that has been improperly prepared and left sitting out way to long. This is one of those hood places that you want to like and support but the product just does not justify them actually making you pay for it, because honestly I wouldn’t eat have of the crap even if it was free.
