This place is just average. Had a groupon and when i made a reservation they stated i had to wait till after 8 pm. When i got there the place was empty. Not good to make new people happy. The food was below average, would rather of gone to maggie mcflys just up the road. Will not be going back.

The only reason this place is still in business is because there is no real competition in the area. The food is good but don’t think about making it your favorite weekend destination, you will inevitably drive all the way there to find out it is closed to a private function. This has happened to me far too many times. Either be a banquet hall or be a restaurant that is open to the public… you can’t be both. I will never go back again.

We have frequented Jesse Camilles several times. We love the ambience and the cozy dining room. The food was always absolutely delicious while the previous chef was there. Since changing chefs around June or July it has not been quite up to par. The last time I ordered eggplant parm the sauce was undercooked and bitter. For some reason it had pieces of carrots in it. They also must’ve thought it was a good idea by taking their fantastic NY strip off the menu and adding a disgusting flat iron steak which is marinated in a totally inedible smelly marinade that turned my stomach the minute I received it. The sirloin steaks used to have a nice char broil taste, now they taste like they are thrown in a broiler with no seasoning. They also took away the side of potato strudel which was amazing and the only place around that created that. If you hire a chef that does not know how to make these things either teach them or get someone else. What they create is your business. The service has always been great, no complaints there. Let’s hope the owner and chef get it together and go back to the older menu and teach the chef how to make those dishes instead of winging it, or find a chef the caliber of who used to be there. Very disappointed and have no plans of returning.

This was my first visit here and I was super impressed. We had a huge group and when I say huge I mean, family reunion take up the entire back room and then some huge. I did not organize the event so I can’t speak on how it went operationally, however I can speak on how it went as a consumer. Food was great. Sausage and peppers was delicious and cooked to perfection. Also on the spread were cheeseburger, dogs(lots of kids in attendance so we had to be kid friendly with the meal options), pasta salad, green salad and margarita salad aka tomato, mozz, and basil salad. The Margarita salad was very good! Fresh mozz and was drizzled with balsamic. So yummy. I heard no complaints from my 6 yr old or her almost 8 yr old cousin about the hot dogs and pasta salad so thumbs up there too! Desserts we all brought to share so that’s a big n/a. Staff was very attentive to our needs. Never was a water carafe empty and wine was always uncorked and ready. The speed of service kept the party at a good pace as well; never did we feel rushed or dragging. Well done.

Food was great, the waitress was horrible. Spilled soup and water on my leg, messed up the check 3 times and left us waiting for 45 minutes to try and fix after she argued until she realized she was wrong. Never coming back.

I’ve been a longtime customer of Jesse’s, finding it to always be dependable and welcoming. The new expanded menu has really brought the restaurant to a new level. The new chef is incorporating great new flavors. If you haven’t been here in a while, it’s worth a visit.

Heard there was a new Chef and new menu, so we gave it a try on Saturday night! The cucumber salad was out of this world!!! My husband the«connoisseur«of the Wedge salad could not say enough about it! The Prosciutto wrapped shrimp with capers was excellent !!! The Panko Chicken Supreme was very tasty! Would definitely go back there!

I went here for dinner last night. It was awful. The service was entry level with long wait times. The broccoli looked anemic, like it was left over from past weeks. The chicken dish that was«cooked in a red wine reduction» was basically a pounded flat piece of chicken that was breaded and fried and tasted like store brought frozen chicken. Very bland and unappetizing. Will definitely not be going back.

Love this restaurant! I’ve been here for date night, girls night out, birthdays, charity events and dinner with my parents and it’s been great every time. The food doesn’t come out super quickly but it’s almost always worth it. Check the specials depending in the night of the week. Right now there’s a Thursday night special for $ 19.95 — I got a martini, a salad, an appetizer and an entrée for that price! The app was great — pumpkin ravioli! Wish I could eat it every night. For dessert, try the NACHOS… yes, delicious cinnamony dessert nachos.

Although the wait staff was great, but there wasn’t enough of them and they must have been training a new line cook because my wife’s steak had to be sent back twice and still couldn’t get it right. I have eating there before but I won’t waste my time any more

Slow service and average food selections. Also, I have become sick the past 2 times I have eaten there with flu-type symptoms. Not going back.

I’ve lived embarrassingly close to this restaurant for an embarrassingly long time, and this was my first visit, and only because I had a buy one, get one Entertainment Book coupon. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the food and service, and really haven’t ever heard anything interesting enough to entice me to go. My sister, 2-year old niece, and I went for lunch a little after 1PM, figuring we’d miss any lunch rush. We walked in through the bar, because it wasn’t clear which door we should use. We stood near the hostess stand for a couple of minutes until my sister flagged down the bartender(we’d been in her line of sight) to ask if we should just seat ourselves. The bartender turned out to be our waitress, which resulted in slow, semi-chaotic service(we had to ask for napkins and silverware, wait quite awhile for water refills, etc.). The menu had many items on it yet felt limited. Many of the items were sandwiches, and the few salads didn’t sound interesting. I ordered the lasagna rustica and was told they didn’t have any as they took it off the menu for the summer. A) Why is it still listed and b) summer’s been over for over a month now. The children’s menu was typical sad restaurant fare for kids. Fried something + fries. Fried something else + fries. Hot dog + fries. As my sister said, it was all brown food. My niece typically eats whatever my sister eats, so we ordered a bowl of Italian wedding soup and spooned out the meatballs for her, then gave her parts of our meals. My sister and I both ordered the scallop lunch dish. While it didn’t knock our socks off, the combination of spinach, roasted red peppers, kalamata olives, feta cheese, and light broth was pretty tasty. 3 scallops didn’t seem like much, but they were gigantic and turned out to be pretty filling. While I wouldn’t rush back, I wouldn’t object to going again. I’m curious what’s on their dinner menu. Maybe I’ll go back when I get my new Entertainment book and another BOGO coupon!

I LOVE this place. Yummy food. The blackened Cajun chicken tortolinni is out of this world. A little spicy(which I love) and extremely satisfying. Service is usually excellent and the pricing is exactly what you’d expect. Great place for a night out but can definitely get pretty busy on Friday nights so be prepared. Also Carla’s desserts(available on weekends) are AMAZING!

Trying to find a new place to go in the valley, we found this place. The food was good and the waitress was very attentive. Good kids menu also. We had the veal milenase which was good but the risotto was a little over done. It did though come with a soup or salad. Willing to go back.

The food is pretty good. I ordered the Atticus Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The prices are also pretty reasonable. The waitress was great with the kids and they have a children’s menu. The only thing I didn’t like was that the waitress was also tending bar and was serving the golfers all sorts of blended drinks which took some time. We waited a while before our order was taken.

We went there on a post-internment lunch and found the staff totally helpful, understanding and as well, providing for excellent food. The facilities are located right next to the Hop Brook Golf course, and is well attended by golfers and visitors alike. The restaurant is not a white-linen table type, but instead a more rustic feel with large wooden tables. Our faire included a superbly appointed salad, baked zitti, meatball casseroles, chicken and a mélange of vegetables. All items were exquisite although less spiced than I would have liked. Full bar on the premises. And complimentary WiFi for the geek in us…

Real disappointment. Went there for dinner and was excited about the recent renovations i had heard about. While the prices are good, the entire experience was mediocre at best. Salad was almost completely brown and while we picked through it, we heard another table send theirs back. The pasta and chicken dishes were ok, but bland and almost generic. To give an idea of the service and I am not exaggerating almost every time the waitress approached a table it started with an apology– for being out of a dish, for taking so long, etc… and there were only like 3 tables. The renovation? Looks like they may have painted and updated the deck. Set your expectations low and you will not he disappointed.

I went to Jesse’s & Camille’s for a work lunch. The four of us had wrap pannini sandwiches which our waitress explained where wraps that were toasted in the oven(hence the pannini-part) I had the«Atticus Grilled Chicken Sandwich Apricot/Proscuitto/Pear/Gorgonzola/Maple Mustard» It was one of the best sanwiches I’ve ever had. It came with natural cut fries. I didn’t get as many fries as I wanted but that’s probably for the best because I ended up feeling completely satisfied after polishing off the 2 halves of the wrap. I really liked the dried apricots. I’ve never had them on a sandwich before but they paired nicely with the sharpness of the gorganzola which was slightly melty due to the heat from the grilled chicken. My friend got«Eggplant/Smoked Mozzarella/Pesto/Marinara on Grilled Panini Wrap» and she said the the eggplant was just the right amount of thickness. Not too fleshy and adequately breaded.“ I’ll definitely be back.
