Sadly. I used to love this place but it is not as great as it was. Waiter was great, but the food was average for very expensive prices. Hope they could get back to being an A+ restaurant some day.

The downstairs is a hodge podge of years of design and smells old and tired and was so dark it was hard to see. Was there 15 minutes before an obviously inebriated regular«took» my order and went somewhere to find a bartender or server for me. Good was long in coming, cold and bland. Took another regular to go get my check. Had to find the waiter myself as I didn’t want to hand my credit card to the drunk patron. ?!? And too expensive for such bad food. I was very disappointed.

A hidden gem. Beautiful upstairs dining room. Quaint little downstairs private dining areas. Although an average barroom, this is a very nice place to go for dinner. A tentative staff, a lovely wine and cocktail selection. Beautifully prepared specials. This will be a regular in our«out for dinner» rotation.

Great food! Great service! However, it is pricey. I don’t know why it is only rated moderately priced. It is definitely worth the splurge once in awhile, though! My boyfriend and I split the calamari, which is, by far, the BEST calamari I have ever had. I feel like you can judge a place pretty well based on its calamari; so I order it frequently. It was exceptionally seasoned, the breading stayed in tact, and it was nice and hot. We were also served a warm loaf of bread with butter. I ordered a chicken dish with cranberry and capers, and it was SO good. I had leftovers for days, but I continued to talk about it for weeks. I forget what my boyfriend had, honestly, because I was too busy enjoying my food, but I know he enjoyed it! I ordered a glass of wine, and my boyfriend ordered a Jack and Ginger. Both were typical in portion and taste. Our bill was around $ 90, including tip. The ambiance upstairs is dimly lit and features a fireplace. This was an enjoyable, private, quiet date night! Note: We visited the restaurant on a Saturday night, and the bar downstairs was very busy and loud, but we did not here all the excitement, while we ate upstairs. We have also been here on New Years Eve over a year ago, and we had a nice time. The bar was very busy and loud and featured karaōke. We enjoyed the buffet food, and the drinks were good, too. This place is definitely a once in a while treat for us!

I’ve been here 5 times. Each time was great food, charming atmosphere. Service was always really good.

I’ve been two times, with two years between each visit, and this place still remains a great find. The outdoor seating area mimics an intimate garden/balcony setting. Wrought iron furniture, hanging plants, small garlands of light, vintage signs, and wooden décor bring life to the space. The food was delicious as well.

Ive heard that this place used to be the it-scene in Naughy but now I’ve found a 45+ crowd there on Fridays and Saturday nights. They have karaōke on those nights but it’s definitely an older crowd and half of them are related and like to talk smack jokingly to each other. They do welcome new singers though! The food is good. You can expect decent entres although they are a little more pricey than I’d like. We always get the hot and creamy artichoke cheese dip as an app. Ive had pasta dish and I was satisfied. The decorations on the walls are cool because they are pieces of history relevant to the area. They stop serving food at night kinda early(maybe at 10pm?) so if you want snacks while your drinking then you’ll be out of luck. I have yet to eat in the upstairs dining room.

I went here with my girlfriend once for a nice ‘date night’ on a Friday. The food was really good and the décor/ambiance was very nice. It’s a very comfy place to go. They have a bar downstairs that tends to get rocking on some nights; I’ll have to check THAT out one night. But the upstairs is nice and quiet for having dinner and drinks. If half stars were allowed, this would be a 3.5 star review.

Great atmosphere. I like to go when it’s quiet, weekdays and early. We went once on V-day…it was awful! You can’t compare then to a regular day. On busy days they are often out of menu items.
