Opened under a different name now. Benaq Shaq, maybe? We ate here twice during our stay in Navarre and the atmosphere does not get any better. Food, drinks, good people watching on the beach? Yes indeed. Service was a bit slow both times. You have to order alcohol separate from your food at the bar. Menu has a decent selection of things that are not just all fried. Fried pickles and Pier Chips(homemade thick potato chips with smoked Gouda, green onions and ranch dressing) are pretty deliciously unexpected! Also had a caesar salad with grilled mahi mahi that was quite tasty. Only complaint is that service is slow – I think they need more staff for the restaurant portion instead of the bar! If you are in Navarre Beach, check this little joint out.

Well. So, you can’t order drinks from your server and you can’t order food from the bar. And as a topper? No hard alcohol. So get this: no margaritas on the beach. The menu is ok and the fries are fantastic. They need some competition.

We went here last weekend and were told that service could be hit or miss. So first thing I dig was grab a waitress to make them aware we were there to eat. She sent over a great server named Tyler, he was on top of things and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. I got some Seafood Quesadilla’s and I wasn’t disappointed at all, it came with a sweet mango salsa that topped it off perfectly. We also ordered some crab cake sliders which were great(where for me a crab cake not cooked correctly can ruin a meal). I wouldn’t have changed anything at. To round things off there was a decent one man band playing some great tunes. My only recommendation if you go here it to get a waitresses attention right away since it is a bar scene who cater more to people at the bar and not at the tables.

CLOSED!!! Old owner«took the kitchen» and new one opens«around Memorial Day». The beer is warm because the old owner also took the beer cooler. Not worth stopping.

Try the fried pickles, a bit too greasy but tasty. Also, cheese fries are pretty good too. A little too salty.

Great location. Good service. Live music, it’s a great spot and we’ll definitely visit next year!

Nifty bar and grill on the beach. Bite on the Beach has a selection of seafood sandwiches and entrees, as well as burgers, pizza, and typical bar appetizers. Bar has a decent selection of beers, excluding high end and craft beers. Other offerings include margaritas and beach inspired mixed beverages. If you are hungry and need something while on the beach, this is a good choice.
