Sometimes great service is all you need. Nazareth Diner is… a diner. Nothing more, nothing less, so the food is what you expect. They offer a salad bar with a few different kinds of lettuce. Don’t settle for what’s in the first tray; the good stuff is further in! Another nice option if you are not that hungry is the mini dinners. For example, a standard entrée is two pork chops, but a mini dinner is just one. I chose a full serving of chop steak covered in gravy and onions. It was exactly what I expected; not the best meal I will ever have, but it was satisfying. The sides of mashed potatoes and green beans were… alright. Nothing to write home about. What really stood out to my was our service. Our waitress was quick and very accomodating. Ran out of whipped cream for your milkshake? Extra chocolate sauce! Need to split checks? Done in a flash! Its the service that would draw me back when I am in the area.

This is yet another case of «if the food wasn’t so good, I wouldn’t even bother.» They generally have amazing food, and the full menu is available well into the night. For a diner in the Lehigh Valley, the food ranks above the rest by a decent stretch. On the other hand, getting service may be problematic. If you need more than two minutes to briefly review the menu, plan to be ignored for at least a half hour. Even after attempting to hail the lone overnight server, he simply ignored my booth of two. As an interesting aside, the hostess actually walked up to another booth mid-meal and asked them if they wanted their check printed up. Who does that? I’ve learned my lesson — the Nazareth Diner isn’t a place to go for an overnight snack for certain. I’ll have to try them again when the sun is out and hope for better results.

Have been eating here for years. Great to place, friendly owners and most of the staff is usually on point. Food is always good. Big parking lot sure to always find parking regardless of how busy they are, you may wait a bit to get a table on Sunday’s but parking is sure to be available. Only reason I did not give it a full 5 star is due to the fact that there have been a few occasions where we got bad service and food did come out cold that has be one out of ten times not a bad track record.

It is a diner, it has diner food. The portions are large, and prices are good. Always busy, and menu is way too large to expect anything ‘fresh’. Would I go back, sure if I was around there. Try to go later on in the day, maybe even do a late dinner it won’t be busy. I would recommend the breakfast, just not the fruit! They only gave a very small portion and mostly honeydew. Simple and expected, nothing worth mentioning.

Our food was delicious and the portions were really hearty. I ordered the triple decker roast beef sandwich with fries and I could hardly eat half of it. They have a salad bar that looks really good with a nice selection of fresh fruits and veggies. They serve breakfast all day and have a really yummy looking dinner menu. One thing I really enjoyed was looking over the extensive menu items. I will be a repeat customer.

This place is hit and miss. A lot depends on who waits on you. Some are good and some are down right clueless. I think the turn over is high on the staffing. But the food is typical diner food, they have a great salad bar. If u keep with the normal diner fair it’s all good. Don’t step outside the box. Other than that, it’s a ok place. People love the 248 Diner but it’s not a diner per say and to be honest. The food ain’t that good their, I’ll stick w the Naz Diner. Not hating, just saying.

Love the fact that this place is open 24⁄7. Foods good, typical diner food. Very big variety to pick from!

This place isn’t bad, I would definitely go back again. My only complaints are that service felt a little rushed. I understand that it was busy, but I felt like as soon as we finished the last bite we were being hurried out the door. Felt hurried trying to enjoy my last cup of coffee. Also, they go a little over kill on the dishes. My sister ordered the stuffed French toast and she couldn’t finish it as there was just so much Bavarian cream. I ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy. I love sausage gravy but I couldn’t even see the biscuits under the huge portion they gave me. Would have preferred not to have my plate drowning in gravy. Maybe next time I’ll just ask for it on the side!

Good service. Decent portions. Fairly clean. Food quality is very very poor. I will not go there again.

I was a little shocked reading some of the other reviews because I’ve been coming here at least once a week for years and I’ve never had an issue. The food is always good and I can count on one hand the amount of times we’ve waited a long time for service, and most of those times the place was packed making it more than understandable. All-in-all it’s one of my favorite diners in the area and I’ll continue going back for a long time to come.

I would have given 5 stars, but I never receive good service. The food is amazing. Breakfast or lunch! Their gyro omelete is really good, big portions. And they have really good pancakes too. Their prices are great too. Haven’t had anything bad here!

I liked this diner because it has a wide selection of sandwiches and burgers. I had a turkey sandwich as a main course, and a piece of chocolate fudge cake for dessert. The Martin Guitar Factory is a few minutes from the diner. I wish that this diner would have a jukebox.

3.5 stars to be exact. This place is conveniently located near blue mountain. After a whole day of ski, you can come here for a quick meal. Nothing spectacular in terms of flavors, but hey, they serve big portions with very reasonable price tags. So far I have only visited once and didn’t have diarrhea afterwards, so I think their hygiene was fine. Our waitress was friendly, by the way.

I’ve been to this place many times, and I usually have a good experience; good service, good food. Occasionally, when it’s busy, you might get a waitress who doesn’t know what she’s doing, but usually, the service is excellent. The breakfast is pretty good, standard fare eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast etc. Lunch and dinner are good likewise, they have a delicious soup and salad bar, and I’ve gotten Burgers and Wraps and they’ve been good. Overall, this is a great local diner which is definitely worth a try if you live nearby.

One star is being generous. My boyfriend and I went to try this diner on a Sunday morning. Our waitress took 10 minutes to come to our table to take our drink order. We put our food order in at the same time to prevent having to wait again. After being in the diner for a total of 17 minutes our drinks(coffee and iced tea) arrived at our table. Half an hour into sitting, another waitress came and«double checked» our order for the kitchen. The table who was seated 15 min after we were had already been served and eating at this point. When our food came out, the new waitress told us she stole someone else’s order to get us our food, but they were out of bagels(which was what my boyfriend ordered). After I asked for a box, she came back and said she was sorry a box took so long. At this point I had understandably lost my appetite. She said the manager(who never came over to our table) apologized and our check was taken care of. We walked out without our original server or the manager ever acknowledging us, proving that this diner has disgraceful management on top of horrible service. I will NEVER step foot in the Nazareth diner again.

This is not even worth the time. I have been there many times. I had an elderly aunt that loved it here and had to suffer. The worst everything. She has now passed away and I never have to eat at this place ever again. I would rather not eat.

It’s a real hit or miss here. I had ordered a steak and it was under cooked. Then they overcooked it and killed it. By then I wasn’t into waiting for a replacement plus I didn’t want the cook to do anything bad to the steak. Management didn’t even offer to take it off the bill even after they knew why I did not want them to make a new one. That’s too bad because there are plenty of other diners close by I can go to. Portions were good. Besides the steak disaster, the sides were good. There is a salad bar but not open 24hrs. Not sure when they shut it down. Plenty of seating and parking and there is a full menu 24⁄7. It’s a typical diner and not much to rave about. I miss the Silver Diner in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Was here today for a late breakfast. Had the French Toast Deluxe(incl. 2 eggs & bacon). I sat at counter The FT was barely warm & was cold by the time I finished it — thats terrible, no excuses, the place was ¼ full. Coffee is OK. I probably won’t be back. As Diner 248, BeanBath Café & Billys are way better.
