Peace Chalet

Had a wedding to attend in Nederland, Colorado and instead of staying in a hotel my family opted to rent a house in the mountains… The Peace Chalet. This ended up to be a great decision. The house had four bedrooms, plenty of space, a nice kitchen, hot tub and incredible views. It’s a little bit of a trek when flying into Denver but not that bad & the drive up the mountains from Boulder is super cool. You can tell the owners take good care of it because everything is very clean and in order. This place worked great for my family because I have two young infants and they provided baby gates & a pack n’ play. During my entire stay I had only two minor complaints: 1) their Wi Fi wasn’t working which was kind of a bummer, 2) They advertised Direct TV but in fact they have Dish Network (some would say «What’s the big deal?’» Well where I’m from it’s a huge deal, it’s like apples & oranges! So without Wi Fi & with Dish Network I was shut out from the NHL Play-​offs for 4 days, not the end of the world… I guess! Other then those two hiccups my family and I had a wonderful time in Nederland and the accommodations had a lot to do with it. I don’t think in my lifetime I will find myself in Nederland, Colorado again but if I do my family and I will definitely go the Peace Chalet route.
