Lifetyme Exteriors

My wife and I decided to have our cape house trim painted by LifeTyme Exteriors. The first two years the paint held up well; the third year, this year the paint began to chip and peel. I called LifeTyme Exteriors to request a repair; they asked that I send them pictures in an email. Five months later and over a dozen emails requesting service I still do NOT have my trim repaired. I am now going to utilize their competitors services, I plan on bringing LifeTyme Exteriors to small claims court to cover the cost. Please do NOT utilize this companies products and services!

They painted my 100 year old victorian home in the late spring of 2014. Everything looked great, until the following spring. The paint on one side of the house blistered and peeled. I called to ask them to honor their warranty and fix the damage in May 2015. After seven or more emails and multiple calls throughout the summer, all I received were promises of getting back to me with a date. The date never came, and now in mid October, 2015 I can’t even get a response. I will now have to pay another company to come out and paint the damaged side of my house because Lifetyme Exteriors clearly will not honor their warranty. Also, I filed complaints with the BBB and Angie’s list which they failed to respond to.

After 6 month the paint started to peel off. This was quite surprising for us as we picked them for their «never paint again» service — which was in the higher end of price range. We send them an email with pictures of the damage. Never apologize. After multiple emails they said they will come over when ever possible and gave us a 5 month window! Who does that with their customer who spent $ 8000? Never heard about Rick the owner who came so quickly when we asked for a quote and for picking up the check. So disappointed

That despite a difficult problem I had, Lifetime stepped outside of their customary warranty, and repainted my home again. I would recommend Lifetyme. They went beyond to satisfy a customer. Nice Job!!!
