Excellent, courteous service. Called to have a bottle of champagne delivered to my brother and it was done without hassle. Can’t say much about the prices.

Excellent selection of craft beers, including rarities! Reasonable prices. Professional and courteous service. Hint: Park behind CVS and walk a block instead of looking for a metered space on the street.

I like many others grew up in Needham, I asked my parents what liquor store to visit and this was my fathers wonderful recommendation. Every one working was so nice to me on a Tuesday night. They even offered to carry my beer out to the car because I had my infant under my arm. The selection, at least for beer was wonderful, and I left with two of my favorite harder to find beers. They also seemed to have some nice cheeses and European chocolates. I can’t attest for wine however because of an allergy, but given everything else, I’m sure it’s wonderful.

They really know what they’re talking about. They don’t mix crap alcohol onto their shelves. Everything is carefully selected to suit the customers need and inspire the customer to choose something unique.

Awful service at this place and not welcoming. I’ve lived in Needham for 26 years now, pretty much my whole life, and I stopped by at Needham Center’s liquor store to pick up a bottle of whiskey to support a Needham business. Right when I entered the store, the owner of the place asked me: can I help you? And I explained what I wanted, and the guy gave me wide eyes, like l was crazy to want a bottle of whiskey. So he shows me the bourbon and scotch and walks off. And then, when another women asked for whiskey, he was making plenty of suggestions to her. When I finally picked out a bottle, I walked up to the front desk, with my ID in hand, and the owner immediately says, «aww fantastic, an ID.» I guess I look young, but I’m 26 years old folks and have drinking legally for five years just to do the math. This guy treated me like I was a punk kid trying to grab a bottle of liquor illegally and he didn’t obviously want someone young in his store. So… Be forewarned: they will treat you based on your age in this store and based on how much money you have in your pocket. And, I’ve NEVER been treated so poorly before in a liquor store, even when i just turned 21! so stay away folks and go to highland ave’s liquor store or out of town, I’m sorry to say.

This has quickly become my go to place for interesting beer choices. Prices are in range with other stores. My favorite, Newcastle, can be found here at the lowest price around. You won’t be disappointed when you visit.

First, I am not a paid reviewer, so my review is authentic. I say that because I really cannot say enough good things about this place. The service is really admirable. It’s not the largest selection — the space isn’t huge — but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in customer service. A couple examples: I came in one Friday a few minutes after they finished their weekly tasting, which was scotch that week. I mentioned I liked scotch, and they took out the samples and gave me some. Another time, I mentioned that i liked Pacifico a lot, but they didn’t have it; they told me they’d get it for me, and a week later, it was there and has been there ever since. Plus, they’re just very friendly and easy to talk to, unlike some other wine places. I feel like a regular even though it’s only been open a short time. I’m very impressed.

I don’t live in Needham but I shop for wine here now. Excellent selection of fine wines at various price points, good prices, new store, online listing of wines in stock, free delivery, but more importantly GREAT service and attention. I feel the love. They know thier wines without being snobby. I’ll be back.

I grew up in Needham and it was always a dry town. Since I moved away 8yrs ago, laws have changed and now there are liquor stores popping up! Needham Center Fine Wines opened up in a great location where the beloved Crest used to be. My family and I stopped in on Saturday looking for some specific Greek wines. My mother is from Greece, and so is the owner, so of course they had to chit chat a bit. He had the wine she was looking for and also recommended a few others she might like. They also had a few Greek spirits including a hard to find mastiha liquor, which is kind of an odd, acquired taste, but I love it. They are not only limited to Greek wines though. They have a great selection of other labels, as well as a huge fridge of craft beers. They have some standard spirit labels we’re all familiar with, but also some lesser known craft spirits like Death’s Door Gin or Ciroc Vodka. On Saturday afternoons they offer free wine tastings from 2−5pm! Check out their event page for details. We got a great sampling of four different labels in a casual, fun atmosphere.
