Shop for lighting anywhere but here. The pricing is outrageous, they have no inventory, and the staff knows nothing about lighting. The product is just cheap junk priced as if it belonged in a high end showroom. I asked for UL documentation on some of their fixtures, and they could not produce it. The day I went the place was dirty/dusty and there was cardboard everywhere. I’d purchase my lighting online site unseen before wasting my time driving down to this place again.

I ordered under cabinet florescent lighting online from Savio and have been very pleased with the products and with the service.

Before I start, please do yourself a favor, and go to Yale Lighting instead of this place. Savio Lighting do not how to treat/retain their customers. If I could give this place negative star — I would. The review is specifically for Savio’s customer service, more specifically, Will. During our recent renovation — we went there to purchase all of our lights under the guidance of my mother. At first, when you enter the store, you’d think, «wow, a tiny place but packed with lights». At first, Will was very helpful and patient with us. So we agreed to place an order for our recessed lights, with the promise that we’ll come up for more puck lights(for our bookshelves and kitchen cabinets) and LED strips for our closets/upper cabinet lights. Throughout the project, Will has been very good/easy to communicate with, that is, when you are trying to place a order. Everything works pretty smoothly when you tell Will that you want to place yet another order, and hand over your credit card. However, the nightmare started when one of the transformer is faulty. At first, my electrician tells me that one of the transofrmers(that is connected to four puck lights) is not working, because when he puts a regular switch on, the lights would go on, but when he puts the dimmer on, nothing would turned on. I called/emailed Will, but the answer I got is that it CANNOT be the transformer, it has to be either the dimmer or the electrician. So I trusted his explaination. I then picked up the phone, called Lutron directly(my dimmer), and demanded for an answer. The Lutron technician(who was so patient with me on the phone) told me that he has to be the transformer. I also called my electrician and demanded that he comes back to double check his wiring. The same episode happened at least three times…(not to mention I had to pay the electrician each time when he comes out). And each time, Will claims that it is NOT his transformer’s fault. Everytime I asked him to just order a new one, he comes up with another excuse/possible reason as to WHY his transformer is not the issue. Meanwhile, my contractor also closed the ceiling(the transformer was hidden in the ceiling), because I kept telling him that it’s not the transformer’s issue. Finally, I gave up. I went to Yale Lighting, and bought another transformer. I had to ask my contractor cut my ceiling open. OFCOURSE, the moment the electrician connect my puck light to the new transformer, ta da, the lights are working with the dimmer! Listen to this, we called Will, explained to him that this whole entire time, it’s his transformer that had issue. He had the audacity to ask us to bring in the transformer for examination. Now, we’ve spent over 3 months over this transformer, when he could have saved his customer some serious time/money/headache by extending a simple courtesy and order a new one. but he chose not to. This is NOT how you want to run a business. Needless to say, I ended up spent the rest of my lighting purchases with Yale Lighting. Go to Yale Lighting — you will pay a little more, but the customized attention and the knoweledge is SO worth it!!!
