Football playoffs — and I wanted to feed a few friends with Pizzas and aps. First time trying… checked the menu on line — order six pizzas. Pick-up fast and friendly. These artisan pizzas… fresh, local ingredients, excellent crust(clearly home made) and wood fire cooked. All guests loved the different pizzas — will be back again and again

Broken Tree Pizza is one of my favorite places in Neenah. Fresh, local, and fun — what more could you want? The pizzas are amazing! And, they have several different flavors /combinations to suit all tastes. They also serve a specialty pizza that changes regularly. At lunch, they offer a pizza and salad bar option or you can pick up a quick pizza to go. For dinner, they also have several local breweries on tap. Their staff is friendly and knowledgable about their pizza and beer options. Be sure to stop by!

Amazing pizzas! They have such a wide range of gourmet toppings/combinations here you really can’t go wrong. I also had a salad once and the lemon dressing was fantastic. Definitely a place to check out in downtown Neenah!

I admit that I avoided this place when it opened — I didn’t think we needed another pizza place. But this isn’t like other pizza places in the Fox Valley. Their dough is fresh and their have a great brick oven and the best thing is their unique toppings and delicious sauce. Sure, they have the typical varieties, but lots of options to make your taste buds happy. And they have vegan options on the menu. No vegan cheese, but at least here you are getting great flavor when you omit the cheese. I’ve eaten at the restaurant a few times over the last month(since I discovered them) and this week had them cater a lunch at work for 14 people. The guests were impressed and enjoyed the spread.

I was recommended this pizza joint by a friend of mine from Boston, Massachusetts, whom was traveling with me on a recent September trip to Appleton, Wisconsin. It was a couple of nights before the 2015 Fox Cities marathon and pizza was on the menu. My friend and I were famished for pizza and ended up here in downtown Appleton. It was kind of cool to eat here, especially after a long whirlwind drive up to Green Bay from Schaumburg, IL and back to Appleton. It just had to be done, I guess. My friend and I arrived here at about 7:30pm on a balmy Friday night. Small town living seemed to suit me and it was good to be here at the Broken Pizza restaurant. The restaurant itself was kind of small, but had heart and a rustic vibe that just was just cute in its own right. It was clean and comfortable. It had a few tables open, so we sat near the entrance and had a nice time. Even the waitress who took our order said that she had a sister in Kailua, when we told her that I was from HI. Small world, huh? The Broken Pizza pizzeria is located at 124 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Appleton. It’s on the ground floor of this kiosk mini mall /office thingy that we kind of didn’t find initially, but after closely searching, we got a handle on it. The parking can be found nearby — basically on street parking or a parking garage, but we decided on street parking for no muss or fuss. The Broken Pizza pizzeria accepts major credit cards, as well as cash, so that’s always a good thing. Initially, we thought we had to pay up front first before we got our pizza. However, since we were dining in, we paid after the meal, which was just dandy too. The prices here were decently cheap and we had a whirlwind opportunity to do whatever we wanted, since we were on vacation and loading up for the upcoming 26.2 mile foot race. Sky’s the limit, pretty much. You can expect about $ 12-$ 15 for a medium to large specialty pizza. I believe you can build your own pizza, as well. I think I got a large pizza with bacon and portobello mushrooms. First time I decidedly chose bacon on a pizza and it worked out pretty well. The pizza came out about 15 minutes after the order came out. Needless to say, I devoured the entire thing in one sprint. Not exactly what I wanted to do, but it fit the bill. The restaurant itself was clean and organized. Rustic and just an interesting place to be on a Friday night here in Appleton, WI. The service was quick, friendly, and positive. It’s a good place to get your pizza freak on, if you decidedly like pizza. The build your own pizza deal is pretty sweet as well. You can make it up as you go along. I’d recommend this place, if you can’t decide what you want to eat on a Friday night. Come here and see what’s going on. Support local! B+

Staff was super friendly. We came on a Friday night at 6PM and didn’t have to wait at all. Pizza was phenomenal! Even our 9, 11 and 13 year old fought over the last piece! Drove all the way from Duluth MN for a weekend and when we come back, we will make this a regular stop!

Great pizza, great atmosphere, easy, fair prices. Most importantly, they’re one of the only places in the area with great vegan options. That’s huge. Well done!

Great little pizza place in downtown Neenah. Friendly staff, quick service, pizza red sauce was a little on the spicy side — but excellent. All the toppings were really delicious. Prices were not out of line at all — very reasonable. They do serve a variety of craft beers, as well as typical beers like Miller Lite, as well as soda. I would recommend people take the time to seek this place out.

As a transplant to WI, I have been searching for pizza with a real crust(not this weird cracker crust going on around here). My search has finally ended! Using fresh dough and a brick fire oven, the thin crust comes out with a few bubbles around the edges and retains its flavor without being dry. The combinations are great as well(pig and pear or argula, white sauce and truffle oil). Great for lunch or a casual dinner, the interior is warm and inviting g.

Visited 6:45 on Saturday night. Short line to order. Our group tried 4 different pizzas and we would all order them again. Young man in charge of ordering was helpful, pleasant, and efficient. One suggestion: chalk board is difficult to read in low light — perhaps a few menus to look at while waiting in line? Could speed up order process too.

I had been waiting to try this pizza! I wanted it to be as great as Punches in MN or Pizza Brutta in Madison but if fell short. Not worth the price. If you have never tasted anything as wonderful as those other places I mentioned then this may be really good to you.

I moved to the Fox Cities area about 9 months ago and have been searching and searching for a legitimate pizza place. Yes, there are plenty of decent places around offering Milwaukee-style pies, but there was no true Neopolitan style places around. Anyone that has talked to me for more than 45 second knows how much I love pizza, so It was promptly told about this place’s opening. After looking at pictures online I knew this was the traditional pizza I sought. And I crossed my fingers. Today, they opened and I was not disappointed. This place is legit. I will break it down starting with the most important part, the pizza. Sauce: You can taste the tomatoes, with a perfect tang and just a bit of spiciness to it. The cheapo places use low quality tomatoes and balance out the bad tanginess with sugar. Here you get the bright, fresh tomato taste. 5⁄5 Toppings: All ingredients were fresh and seemed to be of pretty high quality. It’s so easy to ruin a good base pizza with poor quality toppings. Not a problem here. 5⁄5 Crust: The place has a wood fired oven, which is exactly why I came. I saw someone checking the temperature with an infrared thermometer while I was there so that is definitely a good sign that they are keeping the oven running well. This shows in the crust. The bottom had a great char(not burned). The crust held itself pretty well but still had that perfect bit of chew in the texture. My only complaint on the crust was there wasn’t a whole lot of air in the cornicione so it didn’t get that great hole structure and crispiness, but that was not a problem for me. 4.5÷5 Service: Any eating experience can get ruined by service. I usually have low expectations for new places, but this place was ready to go. The staff were moving smoothly and everything is set up pretty clearly. The staff were also all very friendly. Most importantly, everything was organized and running smoothly. Also, service is fast. You expect fast pizzas out of a wood fired oven and this is exactly what you get. I ordered my first pizza at 11:03 and was done eating it by 11:20. I say first pizza because toward the end of it I ordered a second one. I did this for a couple reasons. First and foremost, they were really delicious and I wanted another one. Second, I wanted to see how the oven was holding up after several other pizzas went through(my first pizza was their first order, second was maybe 6th or 7th). Third, I wanted to try a different, plainer combination of toppings so I could get a better sense of the sauce flavor. Last, I wanted to see how fast it came out when there were a couple people ahead of me. All aspects of that second pie were just as good as the first. Great crust, great flavor, and made quickly. Overall I highly recommend Broken Tree Pizza. I love pizza, I like to think I know a lot about pizza, and this is hands down the best I’ve had in the Fox Cities area since moving here. Additional info you may find useful: 1. Pizzas are only 10″ personal pizzas. You might be able to split one among 2 people if you’re not too hungry. 2. It’s inside the marketplace building so it might not be super visible from the street. 3. I didn’t notice wifi but the place next door has it and you can sneak onto that(shhh)
