The edges and bottom of table were filthy. Crusted with food particles and sticky slime. How hard is it to wipe the edge when you wash the table? Ordered the biscuits and gravy. The description did say sausage gravy. The sunny side up eggs were done right. There was zero sausage to be found anywhere in the sausage gravy. Hash browns didn’t have much brown. Should have been cooked a lot more. There was actually quite a bit of undercooked potato. Friend ordered the same thing with scrambled eggs. Said his hash browns were also undercooked and even watery. He mentioned that there was a lot of pepper in the gravy and also that it had zero sausage in it. His scrambled eggs were overcooked to the point of being rubbery. Waitress did a good job throughout most of the meal until after putting the bill on the table. At that point things got very rushed even though the place was less than half capacity. The parking lot has a massive depression in it that was still ankle deep from last night’s rain. Weeds growing in the cracks along the building. The inside could use some sprucing up including fixing rather than covering up cracked or loose floor tiles between the dining rooms.

I really don’t understand the lower reviews and I’m usually pretty picky. Their breakfast is my favorite in Neenah. Greasy diner and home cooking. The skillets are the best — especially the Pappa Skillet. Their french dip is fabulous, too. The service is fantastic!

The restaurant is a little dingy and could use some cleaning. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and Pappa’s Favorite from the menu. The food came out 5 to 10 minutes later and hot. The staff was mostly friendly. Food was decent. I could see stopping here again.

First time ever trying Pappa’s, and the last. The soup came out cold as if it had been sitting in the fridge, after waiting 10 minutes for it to come out. The burger came out burned black and crispy on all sides. Was supposed to be a 1⁄3 burger, and was definitely much less than even ¼ pound. Bacon was chewy and tasted old. Server’s attitude was short, the other server who checked us out was just plain rude. Don’t go to this place if you like good food or good service.

Visited Pappa’s for breakfast and found it perfect. Diner style fare, friendly service, low prices and they give you lots of food for the money. Nothing fancy at all, just simple food reasonably priced. I’ll be back.

This was the worst breakfast I’ve ever eaten. As I was walking out it got even worse… the old woman cooking the breakfast was also enjoying a cigarette over the grill. I will never eat here again. Fortunately after complaining three times they didn’t charge me for the breakfast.

My first visit here and it was AWESOME! My guy and I were looking for a place for lunch one day between shopping stops. He is from Neenah and suggested Pappa’s Café. It is a cute little local diner. Very low key and nothing fancy. So I thought the typical food was going to come out of the kitchen. I was wrong. We ordered the chips and dip. The chips were fresh fried and warm and the onion dip was home made. I love these chips. The Stone Cellar could take a page from Pappa. I forgot what my guy ordered cause it ate it too fast. I got the Reuben and I could actually taste the corned beef and the sauerkraut was good. The waitress was very nice and on the ball. Could tell the place had its regulars by how the staff chatted with them. I would really recommend this place if you are looking for some good local diner food!

Great local establishment, friendly service, good homestyle food. Catch a pie on the way out!
