We stopped here for sheer convenience when visiting friends who live in the Hocking Hills area. The Pit-​Stop was a welcome surprise with a greatly varied selection of wine, beer and liquor. They offer everything from small batch craft brewed beers to Absinthe to Arbor Mist. They also have some «snacks» available including (I am not kidding) «Appalachian Trail Mix» as well as OJ to go with your vodka, etc. If the Pit-​Stop was in Columbus where the competition is more fierce I might give it only 4 stars, but given the lack of options in this part of Ohio, I think they merit 5. It is worth mentioning that the parking lot is poorly laid out and that the road you enter from is a fairly busy one.

It’s a good to place to get what you need in a hurry and they do have a nice selection. Although I do forget about the place because I hate the parking. It just depends on what your looking for.

Beer-​wise they have a pretty decent selection of beers. However unless you have a very specific beer in mind the prices are not that great and I would suggest for most beer purchases beyond the standard to go to a grocery store for a discount.
That said they are about the only store around that sells liquor, something which the grocery store do not sell, at least at full strength.
