I love the pizza here. I only get it like once a year because of the price but its worth it. Its pick up only, no seating inside. They only take cash as well. The hours are really weird here too.

This is the ONLY place that when I call and they tell me an hour and a half, I would wait that long. It is that good. The place is tiny. Walk in the door and the counter is probably 18 inches in front of you. There are no seats. And people willingly wait outside in the cold. And cold it will be. The place is only open from November to May. And then only 3 days a week(Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). The rest of the year they do the carnival-fair circuit(where they are known as Denny and Pearl’s).

Wow! This pizza is addicting! Polock’s serves BBQ — yes, but this review is for the pizza only.(Only because I haven’t had the BBQ). Polock’s is well known in the area for their pizza. Local residents with generations of the family working the store and carnival stands. They are only open at their store from October or Nov through May from 4 — 9pm Friday, Sat, and Sunday only. During the other(summer/fall) months, they travel by their food truck/carnival/fair stand to various fairs and carnivals. Prices are cheaper at the store than on the fair stands. Makes sense since Fair/Carnival food is always priced higher. It is a tiny tiny tiny place. Standing room only — that is because it is a take out place only. Not a restaurant. Call your pizza 1 hour — 1.5 hours BEFORE you really want to pick it up to eat.(I call around 3:30pm) for a 5pm pick up. Be prepared to wait either way. If you are not a patient person, then this will help you grow in that category. It is worth the wait. Cash Only. No bills over $ 50 accepted(which yes, means no $ 100 bills). They have 2 different style pizzas: Round & Sheet(Rectangular). Toppings include Plain, Pepperoni, and I think maybe Sausage?(Don’t quote me on that one.) I think a large plan pie is around $ 12 — $ 15.00. 8 slices. Very cheesy, the sauce is addicting, and the dough I could eat plain. I never eat the crusts of pizza, but this one I will eat the crusts. It has such a fresh dough taste.(That’s saying alot from my world of pizza crusts). I HATEHATE a cracker, crunchy crust. If I wanted to munch on a cracker with pizza toppings, I would make my own saltines with tomato sauce and cheese. I want a pizza slice that is flexible and bendable. This is it. Awesome slices.
