The staff at Tisdale-Lann in Nettleton are professional, courteous, compassionate, and understanding. The facility is simple and nice. The layout of the building for the memorial services is a little unusual. The family sits off in a separate area away from friends(who are seated in the«chapel»). Think of an upper-case letter«L». The point of intersection is where the podium and casket are placed. The bottom of the«L» is where the family sits looking toward the intersection. The top of the«L» is where the friends sit looking towards the intersection. In this arrangement, the family cannot see friends and friends cannot see the family. The layout just caught me a little off-guard that friends and family are separate from each other during the service. There may be a reason for that, but it caught me off guard personally.
