I Came here with my family tonight. The staff was very friendly and the pizza was AMAZING. The salad bar was small but super tasty too! The only thing I would change is that they only have 1 trip and they still charge $ 6. Other than that it was great!

I have had better frozen pizza. Very disappointed, thin cardboard crust. The large pizza was the size of a medium and very very expensive. 50 bucks for what looked like two medium sized frozen pizzas One was a specialty pizza and the other was a plain cheese… I do not recommend this place at all. My bad for not confirming the price with the telephone order taker, I was looking at an outdated menu at the hotel,.

I absolutely love this place, the ownership is amazing and so is the food! I literally eat here every lunch!

So, we made it a tradition to stop here after family camp. Great pizza and friendly staff. Unfortunately, we might have to consider an alternative for our group next summer…
They advertised a gluten-​free pizza, but it’s not safe for people with celiac disease. It was just a little warning sign inside that prevented what could have been a dangerous situation for one of our campers. The order was refunded and he ended up getting lunch elsewhere.
The bathrooms are in a shared hallway with the business next door, but they lacked some maintenance. The only toilet for men was broken and the women didn’t have paper towels.

I think I found my favorite pizza. The chicken and bacon mini pizza with garlic sauce. It’s my favorite and just the right size and the price isn’t bad. I think this will be my go to from now on.

I used to order from these people at least once a week but took my business elsewhere when I encountered a rude and unresponsive employee who took my order over the phone then didn’t send the pizza out for over an hour. I am ½ mile away. I tried them again tonight and waited an hour and forty minutes and when I complained to the driver, he refused to deliver my pizza and TOOK IT BACK! I have just called them to complain about this remarkably rude individual. I told them I wanted my pizza fresh and hot and delivered as agreed. I was old they would «call me back AFTER the driver returned to the shop. Apparently he got back to the shop and told them that I had been rude to the driver. If lodging a complaint about a late delivery is a cause to be considered rude, then I don’t want to do business with these people. They did call back and I was told that the driver reported that I was rude. I explained (again) that it wasn’t rude to complain about the lateness of the delivery. The person on the phone responded with, «Our driver said you were rude and we trust our employees more than we trust our customers.» OK Miner Moe, if that’s the case, then I will not be calling your or visiting your location ever again. One insulting encounter I can forgive, two times in succession is beyond the rules of good customer relations. Be prepared to kowtow to these people if you want to order food from them.

Best pizza in town! Staff has always been nice, toppings are creative and yummy, feel is wonderful. I love going there, it is filled with family-​like atmosphere and the owner knows everyone. She is friendly and kinda and makes some great pizza! All around its definitely the best pizza in town.

I’m a bit confused by some of the previous reviews. Have you actually taken time to talk to the owner with your concerns? Moe is as sweet as they come — give her a chance. I have been enjoying their pizza’s since we moved up to the area in ’97. The cost IS going to be higher than some competition (including the chain place that moved into the space they were kicked out of). Moe uses fresh ingredients that are more costly. She can’t buy mass amounts of food and get the discounts that the chains do. Miner Moe’s is a local family-​owned restaurant heavily involved with the local schools, sports and community. I’d rather pay a few more dollars and eat there than throw money at the chains. Go Team Moe! — and for the record — I am not an employee or investor of the company. I just enjoy eating there and the friendship.

This is a small family-​owned business in the newer part of Nevada City. The pizza is usually pretty good. It isn’t the greatest I’ve ever had, but there is a wide variety of toppings and sauces on the menu to make it interesting and not just boring «run of the mill» pizza. My favorite is the «moe-​licious» pizza which consists of pepperoni, garlic, artichoke hearts, and pine nuts on a pesto sauce.
Usually my pizzas have been good here. But most recently my friends and I received several large pizzas to go which were far from perfect. They were full of huge bubbles in the crust (all over, not just on the edges) which averaged about 3″ in diameter. The pieces were cut very sloppily (and not all the way through) at uneven angles in a poor attempt to work around the bubbles (I made pizzas in high school and was taught to regularly to monitor them while baking in order to prevent this problem). Luckily I wasn’t the one paying, or I would’ve been angry, since this place tends to be a bit costly. A Little Caesar’s $ 5 pizza comes in better condition than the ones we received. We were also told it would take 2 hours for delivery, yet my friend lives less than a mile from their shop! I understand that weekends tend to get busier, but that is no excuse for sloppy workmanship and service. They should hire more weekend help if it’s that difficult to keep up.
All things considered, it’s a bit overpriced, in my opinion. Even if you are only ordering a small pizza for yourself, it will still cost you in the range of $ 15 – 20 after all is said and paid for. The coupons they offer on their website (and everywhere else) are practically useless if you’re only buying for 1 or 2 people… they are always for a large 1-​topping-​only pizza, or a «family special» package. Overall it isn’t bad pizza by any means. But there’s plenty of room for improvement.

Got the online coupon for 11.99 one topping. It was was 22 after 3 dollar tip. Got to thinking… that’s a 5 dollar delivery and service charge. Pizza was poor. Should have just paid the round table price. :/​2 stars because delivery was pretty fast. Dissapointed overall.

This rating is based solely upon food. We were struck with the voices of Mary Kate & Ashley in our heads and both knew… P.I.Z.Z.A! Pete’s was closed so we decided to go elsewhere. We got the BBQ chicken pizza which my boyfriend argues is not real pizza. You can be the judge of that but overall the pizza was pretty whatever. It did the job but definitely wasn’t worth close to $ 30 for a large (included delivery fee). It was round table status which we generally don’t go for so we have some bias. They do offer delivery which is a big plus!

Skimpy toppings, machine processed crust (no rim on pizza) and kind of gummy. Could use more sauce.
Reminds me of little league baseball pizzas. Fills a void that’s about it.

Went here on a Saturday night with 3 of my friends as we were hungry an all agreed on pizza. We know we like pizza but we wanted to try out a pizza place we never had. The place closes at 8pm so we had to make sure we allowed ourselves enough time. We wanted to try the deep dish but since there was four of us and the deep dish doesn’t come in a large size, we went for a regular large pepperoni pizza.
The pizza reminded us a lot of Mountain Mike’s pizza, especially the pepperoni that they use, which curls up when it is cooked and has a bit of a spice.
They have a game room in the back that you can visit while waiting for your food which is cool.
I’d like to come back again someday and try the deep dish pizza.

I have since had Miner Moe’s pizza and found it to be very good. And they will deliver, by foot, to the brewery a few doors down.
