Very bad selection. $ 27.00 for a plastic wrapped bouquet of alstroemeria and daisies??? Come on.

I used The Magickal Florist for my wedding bouquet and I absolutely loved working with Karin! She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and produced exactly what I had envisioned! We met two times to go over pictures and to look at different flowers. We emailed constantly and I felt as though she really took the time to figure out my wedding style and the type of flowers and effect I was looking for. My bouquet turned out so beautiful that I printed one of the pictures my photographer took of it and it is hanging in my house!
I would not hesitate to go to Karin again for a big event and I would absolutely recommend Karin and The Magickal Florist to anyone and everyone I know!

Two years ago, I needed two centerpieces for a holiday dinner party. I had my own bowls and took then with me when I shopped. The owner wasn’t there, so I told the young woman what I had in mind and what my budget would be. She wrote it all down and promised that the owner would call me within 48 hours.
A week later I hadn’t heard from anyone, so I called in and left a message. No response.
the second time that happened, I gave up and went somewhere else. I know my budget was limited, but all they had to do was tell me what I could get for what I had to spend. She couldn’t be bothered.
I live a mile from this business but I’d rather drive further and get good service.
And BTW, the other place I went provided two gorgeous, full, and festive centerpieces in my bowls, and nailed my budget perfectly.

Ive been to a few florists in town and they sat me down alone at a table and told me to look through magazines (not even of what they carried) and to pick what I wanted (when I has already told them my ideas witch were VERY simple. After sitting there for 20 mins with no one checking on me I left.
When I went into the magickal florist shop in Nevada city I was immediately greeted by the owner who was beyond nice. I showed her my ideas on my phone and she named all the flowers that were in this picture and guided me along suggesting flowers that complemented my choice, what others have done etc. She used real flowers to give me a visual of what I would be paying for before I even ordered. Her shop is beautiful. I would highly recommend this florist shop because they take the time to assure you of what you getting and they actually take time to help you if you don’t know what you want, they have a huge arrange of flowers (in store) that are beautiful.

I do not usually write reviews, but I am a stickler for Customer Service. I ordered the ‘style and grace’ bouquet, a long flowing bouquet, for my wedding. Karin and I discussed this and I was leaning on her expertise In terms of flower choice. The bouquet that arrived (an hour late) was a Pom Pom style arrangement more suitable for a table arrangement, and In fact, the flowers came In a vase! No ribbon wrapped the bare stems and they were held together with florist wire. People attending lent me Kleenex so I could hold these flowers. Of course, 2 hours before one’ s wedding, you can’ t fix this, but this was not what I ordered or wanted. When I was finally able to reach and speak with Karin after the wedding, her attitude was awful. I was told that given my flower choices, Having a long spilling bouquet was not possible. Hmmmm, I was apparently supposed to know this, how? She did not tell me this when we talked about the bouquet. This was a very disappointing experience, not worth the money or aggravation.
