I left the same review on their page: We recently purchased a home and before moving wanted to have laminate floors installed. We went to Carpet Corner at the recommendation of our realtor. The sales portion, measure and meeting with Mauricio went very smoothly. We had a couple of time constraints that we were led to believe would not be much of an issue. The holidays happened and this delayed our installation until the week after the New Year. Our move date was set at the 7th. When I asked if we would be on schedule, I was first told that the products would not arrive until the 8th. I had already paid a 2600.00 deposit and was led to believe previously that when we moved, the bedrooms would be completed at the very least. This would have given me time to clean and prepare those rooms for sleeping. When I reiterated our timeline, the story shifted to products arriving by Tuesday the 5th and installation beginning the day before our move. I understand businesses being at the mercy of product availability. When I made the deposit, I was told the company had the product in stock, not that the company was in Indianapolis and that they only delivered two days a week to Carpet Corner. This was also the second product we were shown. The first product which appeared to be a better quality was suddenly unavailable. In retrospect with the time it took, we should have waited for our original flooring choice. Fast forward to the beginning of installation. We were told the installers would arrive at 9:30 Tuesday to begin carpet removal and deliver product. At almost 11:00, they arrived. The prep guy, Matt, worked tirelessly during the entire process. The guy who actually laid the floor did a pretty good job when he was there. There were several times when he would show up, very late, work for an hour and leave. In total it took another full week for our floors to be completed. We did 800 sq. ft. The trim was short and had to be reordered. One evening(yes, 5:30 in the evening) two guys we had not met showed up with the trim. Shortly after, the main installer showed up and worked alongside the others. The trim that was installed by the two«extras» was loose and fell off. We had to have it reattached. There were areas of trim that were left incomplete. A couple of places we knew that more trim was being ordered(It took a week). Other places we discovered on our own and then brought to the attention of Carpet Corner. A couple of times Mauricio came to «supervise»(make excuses for the poor work that was done). As well, during the time the«extras» were here, a tablet went missing(which we mentioned to Mauricio and basically were given a shoulder shrug as an answer). So at the end of a more than two-week ordeal, we are short the 5000.00 for poor work and a Kindle. The trim was so loose that the ATT installer working on our Internet commented about it and suggested the person who installed it had too much pressure in their nail gun. In addition to the poor trim work, there were nails left in the moulding, gaps in the laminate and a couple of chips in the brand new floor. No real remedy was offered. Overall, the experience was not great. Matt deserves the award in the team for showing up and doing a good job. The rest was questionable, at best. This was a job that was meant to include the other side of our house in March. That will absolutely not be happening. We took photos of the damages.
