This review is also for the Jeffersonville location. I am a die hard Starbucks goer. I have gift cards I can’t use here because the one in target in Clarksville doesn’t open until 8 and the one jn new Albany is too far for me — but that’s for another review. On my first visit I was not a fan for the following reason. Thought it was a bit pricey for a small local coffee shop. I pay extra for Starbucks for the experience etc. I didn’t get the experience here and I still paid the price. Paid $ 7 for a mediocre latte and a soggy scone. The latte wasn’t bad — not very strong at all. The scone was ok — not my favorite, didn’t taste fresh at all. The bottom was soggy from sitting in the case — who knows how long it’s been there. Alright — now let’s get started on the atmosphere. Very cold which I know is ironic for a coffee place! The employees seemed quite involved with whatever they were doing — granted it was 6:30AM but really you work at a coffee place — be a morning person. The lighting was borderline offensive to my eyes. Again very cold. No music — could have used some ambiance. And last but not least — the signs! I hate being treated like a criminal. Next to the register there was a sign ‘please do not take cups. Cups are $ 0.25 and one of our baristas would be happy to get you one’ REALLY! How many people are stealing cups you need to put a sign up. Not to mention — shouldn’t someone be near the register at all times to help people — where they would be inclined to ask first?! Also — there was a reserved sign on a table in a little room that looked like an after thought. Again it’s 6:30AM! Just didn’t get a good feeling. I will unfortunately be back because this is the most convenient coffee place between my home and my work thats open. Hey owner — if you want more customers I would work on the atmosphere!

I have been to this place three times and haven’t had anything close to a good cup of coffee yet. The lattes taste like flavoring syrup, they basically drowned out the amazing taste coffee and espresso should have. The employees are very friendly and easy to work with but the product just simply doesn’t cut it. This would be a great beginners cup of coffee on the other hand.

Nice location with a nice atmosphere for a store front. Unfortunately I wasted ten minutes standing in line to order while the guy in front of me and the cashier decided to catch up in old times. Even after the cashier took a pole of other employees to determine which coffee mug was a better gift for someone they had obviously never met, and the guy paid for his order, the girl behind the counter just kept chatting him up. After ten minutes I finally just left. It was very apparent that the employee was more interested in working the guy than the cash register. Don’t waste your time with this place!

This review is for the location in Jeffersonville, Indiana, right off Highway 62 as you’re headed toward Charlestown. My first time here was great. I did not order coffee, but I did try the four berry smoothie, and it was great. I also had a pumpkin muffin, which I was told by the owner was made fresh in the store. It was also excellent. I was in a hurry and very hungry, so the muffin and smoothie were in the bread basket before I could capture them on camera. But I did get some shots of the rather swanky décor in this place, and the nice, clean restroom. The employees there were very nice and hospitable. I’d like to go back sometime and enjoy a dine-in experience.

All about the community, family atmosphere. The atmosphere has an modern eclectic, warm traditional vibe. with dark wood floors, polished iron chairs, and a stone fireplace. Here and there some industrial light fixtures speckle the room. I have heard it mentioned. homey, is a good word for that. If you prefer your coffee drinks ‘mixed’. this is the place to be. I personally recommend the Miami Mocha. Yeah, thats a warm Mocha, with a espresso infused with mandarin orange flavor. Definately a dessert drink. If you like other dessert drink combos, somewhere else … I would recommend trying them here. For being a coffee shop, the coffee blends and roasts alone, are not my favorite. but it is a great place to meet up from what I have seen. I would expect to walk in most afternoons, especially the latter end of the week, to a majority of the large tables rotating full groups of teens and 20 somethings doing study time together of some sort. Many times you can hear their chatter. but its never too overwhelming that you can’t feel comfortable, or in your own space. Some days, there have been groups of community ladies, or what look like book clubs, so I would say that it is a good meeting place for an array of ages, and types. Along these lines, there is also a large shelf of board, and trivia games for anyone to try… can we say ‘family time?‘ I often find myself here out of convenience, while on regular commute to Sellersburg, and I don’t mind it much because the staff seem to remember me and give consistent service. Bring your mom, bring your aunt, heck, bring your gramma. I may possibly bump into you.

They have the best latte here, the coffee is so excellent, and the banana nut oatmeal is soooo yummy. There is so much caffeine in the coffee it gets my day off to a jump. I highly recommend here over any other place in town for the best coffee drinks.

Great coffee, cheap, and kinda divey! They made a great suggestion to me about how much sugar I wanted in my drink. I asked for six packets of sugar and said they said what I like the liquid sugar pump instead he said it dissolved better. They were exactly right my iced coffee tastes perfect!

Great place! Just stopped in on a whim. Very quaint setting with a great atmosphere. The staff know their coffee and appreciate their customers. The hospitality they bring make this coffee shop a real treat.

I have visited this coffee shop multiple times throughout college and it has always been pretty decent. Very few options are available in that area, so I mean it gets the job done. Every time I’ve been there(which is several), the owner is occupying a table/chair right beside the fireplace, macbooking away for hours and chatting loudly with his employees. He has the prime spot in the shop. Always. Haha I guess this is a minor annoyance simply because the fireplace is clearly meant to be a «focus point» in the shop and he never fails to be taking up a good portion of the limited seating around it. But whatever. The coffee and espresso drinks are fine. The tea is fine(according to my wife). I’m sure I’ll be back at some point. Support local businesses and all that jazz.

The coffee is ok, a bit overpriced. The atmosphere is nice with a cozy fireplace in the center with comfy leather chairs around it. Nice place to do some reading, though it does get noisy around 8 on Fridays. Friendly staff.

Didn’t have time for a cup of coffee due to making sales calls in the area. I ask for a business card and was handed a cup holder. After looking at it for the information about the coffee shop I found a very interesting thing noted on it which I’m afraid most people won’t see and those who do will be pleased, just a small reference to the Bible, 1 Corinthians 10:31.If they take time to look it up hopefully they will read more. Thank you for sharing this… The advertisement style is very clever also. We may not do business together here but you have passed it on … Again thank you. Bobbie @ Moon Portable Restrooms Inc.

The coffee is good, the décor is friendly and the furnishings comfortable. Free wifi and a relaxed atmosphere makes for an enjoyable time. My rating would be higher if they had a better choice of food items.

The reason why this place is still in business is that there is no Starbucks near Meijer. I would rather put my K-cup in my Keurig Coffee machine than to waste my time going there. We went there probably a couple of times. I have been to coffee shops here in the United States and overseas and this is not a great one. The best coffee I had was in Vigo, Spain. =)

Bad experience for me. Girl at the counter skipped over me to take a «regular» customers order. I guess if you are not in their club it’s harder to get service. Needless to say, I won’t go back.

It’s coffee. I can’t say that it is amazing coffee and I can’t say that it is terrible coffee. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming.

Good coffee, I think. I am not a big coffee connoisseur; however, I do know that this place is a great place to meet up with friends, and hang out. Better for the younger crowd though, and not always the quietest of places. This is where the high schoolers«chill» after they finish a movie at the theater and are waiting for their parents to come pick them up. But don’t let that deter you from going. They have great hot chocolate and plenty of other options for non-coffee drinkers. I enjoy their school crossing. MMMM tasty!

I stopped into Coffee Crossing because I had a little bit of time to kill in New Albany and was very impressed with their atmosphere and menu. I’ve been to some coffee shops where I felt uncomfortable sitting down and having a drink if I wasn’t a «regular» but I felt completely comfortable at Coffee Crossing. The shop is fairly large with a good selection of table sizes as well as some couches. There are board games and reading materials available. The menu has the classics but also has some interesting and fun house drinks. I opted for an iced chai and it was delicious. Oh they also have a drive through. The next time I’m in the area I’ll definatly stop back in.
