Wow they make a nice rack of ribs. Fall off the bone.
It’s more of a quick stop with smokers out front than a restaurant. You wouldn’t want to try to fit a group here.
Sides are nothing to brag about and sauce is average. This is a GREAT place to buy your main course and do the sides yourself.

Manning’s has good BBQ. It’s hickory smoked over actual hickory, not steamed in hickory flavored water the way some places do it. Good ribs. The pulled pork is generally good but can be a little dry if you order right at closing time (the nature of the cooking method means the meat is smoked early in the day). Very good ribs. Sides are OK, but I don’t remember being blown away by them. Friendly service.
It’s more of a convenience store with seating, great for a quick lunch or dinner, but not really a sit-​down type of eatery. Probably not a place for a first date, for example, but great for a «let’s grab takeout and watch a movie» type of evening.
