What a wonderful pediatric practice! I am thrilled we found Rainbow! We recently moved here from Tennessee for my husband’s work. Someone in the HR department at his job recommended Rainbow Pediatrics. I have to admit I was nervous about finding a pediatrician, since I thought we had the best one in Tenn. The staff at Rainbow was pleasant and helpful on the phone in regards to records transfer, general information, and scheduling. Upon arrival for our appointment the Front desk staff were friendly and pleasant. We completed all the usual paperwork and insurance information fairly quickly. The nurse, Kayla, who took us back was so sweet and wonderful to my daughter. She really helped make her feel right at home. She went through all of my daughter’s medical history. She really seemed like she cares! Then Dr. Tyler came in very shortly after the nurse was finished. He was wonderful. He is so good at interacting with my daughter and yet still talking to me in a way I can relate. He did not make us feel rushed and in fact he reminds me of our previous pediatrician. I got all my questions addressed. We will be back and I will refer others to Rainbow! Christy

We’ve been going to Rainbow for 4 years now. We go to Doctor Tyler and really like him. He has great bedside manner and he’s always very accessible and easy to get into. My only recent disappointment is something that may not be new to others, but Rainbow recently caused an issue with. During a well visit we asked Dr. Tyler about a small issue of constipation our son had. He gave a 30 second response about trying Miralax, mentioned nothing else and sent us on our way. Two weeks later I was notified that we owed a copay(wellness visits have no copay through our insurance company). When I called to inquire about the copay it was because Rainbow billed our question about constipation as an «acute illness», which was treated similarly as a second appointment and therefore triggered a copay. I was astounded. When asked«Do you have any questions for the Doctor today» I’d never guess that we have to be sure to only ask«wellness» related questions otherwise we’ll be billed separately. My thoughts are that if the Doctor wants that extra fee, he can EARN it by me actually coming in, rather than earning money for two appointments when in actuality it took him 30 more seconds to answer us. I REALLY like Dr. Tyler and Rainbow, but I’m a bit disappointed that they took this to the extreme. Additionally, in trying to get responses about my issues, it took the billing department over 3 weeks to respond to my 2 voicemails and one patient portal email. Then I was directed to the office manager, but apparently the line I was directed to wasn’t one actually in use, so it took 2 phone calls and 2 weeks to talk to her. I’m trying to decide whether to stick with a Dr. I like, even though I disagree with their new procedures or to find a new practice that isn’t in the habit of nickel and diming their patients over absolute silliness.

I would recommend Rainbow Pediatrics to anyone who was looking for a pediatrician. They’re professional, can generally get you in for a sick visit the same day, and the nurses are fantastic. The last time I was there we needed some extra information from Children’s Hospital and the staff at Rainbow went above and beyond to get it for me. Since my son’s problems are rare, whichever doctor he’s seeing will often go grab another just to get a second opinion right on the spot, which goes a long way to putting me at ease. They keep it very clean, which is another big plus for me, and they have a kids movie playing in the lobby most of the time which is helpful when you’re trying to fill out medical forms and need your kid entertained.

How important is a Pediatrician for the health and welfare of a child? Very! That’s why my wife and I chose Rainbow Pediatrics for our newborn baby boy. We interviewed three other Pediatrician practices before visiting Rainbow. Fortunately, this was the last stop we needed to make. All of the Pediatricians we met were highly recommended by close friends and our OB/GYN. So, what set Rainbow Pediatrics apart from the rest? Drs. Ann & Tyler Rogers, of course. They are a Mother/Son medical team. It’s «all in the family» and that’s the way they made us feel when we met them. We were very impressed by their experience and loving demeanor. Their office is big, bright and very colorful — perfectly decorated for children of all ages. We passed the first hurdle. Now onto the next — the birth of our son. Our next concern — how well will our new Pediatricians treat our newborn? Guess what the first test was? That’s right — circumcision! Our boy cleared his first medical procedure with flying colors! Whew! We are so glad that Dr. Ann has a steady hand! Thank You, Lord! Then it was onto our first check up a week later. Dr. Tyler met with us and addressed every question and concern we had as new parents with patience and professionalism. He really loves what he does and it shows. So far, so good. But will they continue to serve our needs the way they promised? Subsequently, we’ve had to call the office periodically for advice. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses to the doctors have been extremely helpful. Naturally, the doctors are not always available, but the nurses are and we’ve been very satisfied with their thoroughness and responsiveness. The doctors have always returned our calls and have been just as helpful as their staff. How are they when we need immediate attention? As a matter of fact, we just came back from their office this morning. We’re afraid that our son might have Bronchiolitis which can become a very serious infection. When we called them at 9:50am, they said, «C’mon on in at 10, we’ll be ready for you.» We waited for less than a minute in the lobby before they whisked us off into the exam room and took care our boy. Now that’s service when you need it! Obviously, I highly recommend Drs. Ann & Tyler Rogers and their staff. They’ve all been so wonderful to us and they love our precious little boy as much as we do. We thank God for them and only hope that their practice will continue to thrive and bless more families like ours. :-)
