Quaint, delicious, little bakery in the heart of New Baden! Our family loves the doughnuts, cookies, pecan roll. everything that we’ve tried! It has became a tradition to go here for birthday doughnuts on our family’s special days! ;)

What a wonderful treat to find in such a small town! These are genuinely the best donuts I’ve ever had, and very affordable too. Most of their donuts are less than a dollar, and all of their other baked goods look amazing. Their chocolate iced custard filled donut is the single best donut I’ve ever tried.

This place is an annual stop on the Mascoutah Homecoming Bike Ride. They were very nice to all of the bikers, esp when people were walking out munching on donuts, elephants ears, cookies and mini peach pies. I am sure they sold out by noon. Very friendly place, not any bike parking.

Awesome small town doughnut shop!

This is a great little bakery in little New Baden. It looks unprepossessing, but almost everything we have had is great. The various doughnuts like glazed Jenny Lind had great texture, light and crispy on the outside, not too dry or too airy or too dense. Above all, the most memorable item were the Paul’s Delights, which are essentially what all those chocolate Hostess or Dolly Madison cream –filled chocolate cakes are supposed to be like but aren’t really. They are devil’s food cake with a cream-​filled well in the centre, coated in dark chocolate and they are wonderfully made with just the right amount of each component. The cake is nicely textured, not too dry or too wet, it’s chocolatey but not too chocolatey. The snickerdoodles were the only thing that was not great, being decent, but a bit bland and dry. Selection was somewhat limited, as well.
