Awesome service. Great prices. The food was fresh and yummy! Plus miso soup and house salad included when $ 8 in sushi is purchased. Will definitely be back again.

Plenty to say about this place — most of it good, some of it not so good. A «low 4» rating. I came here a couple nights ago(a Thursday) with my girlfriend at 7ish and a majority of the seats were taken. My first thought of the place was that it’s clean and simple, even if a bit too simple … bland, even. There’s a little sushi bar area to sit at, but there’s no reason to really sit there: it’s super small and there’s nothing to see. I ordered beef bibimbap and onion soup, and my girlfriend ordered the chicken katsu. We split the«Nuke» roll, or whatever it’s called. With our entrée orders, we also got a side salad and miso soup. The side salad comes with a «ginger carrot» dressing, but I find that it mostly just tastes like peanuts, which didn’t bother me at all… just know it has peanuts in it if peanuts, you know, can kill you. It wasn’t what I was expecting at all. The miso soup is one of the better ones I’ve had. Not super salty, good flavor… I can’t complain about that. I wound up getting dumpling soup before the waiter noticed I was given the wrong soup, so I ended up having the miso, dumpling, AND onion soups. The dumpling soup was super good and I’d definitely have it again, but I see absolutely no reason to re-order the onion soup at the price it is. It’s essentially the miso soup with soy sauce, frizzy(made soggy) onions, and a little bit of cilantro. Really, it’s a cup of broth for $ 4.50. Why that’s the same price as the plentiful dumpling soup is beyond me. I wouldn’t get it again. The beef bibimbap was a first for me. If you order this, stir the hell out of it pretty much nonstop while you eat it. If you don’t, you’ll end up with some burnt/crunchy rice on the bottom. I stirred, but evidently not enough. For $ 13ish, I wouldn’t say it was a great value, just because there was hardly any meat in it, and they were morsels that were about half the size of a jellybean. Also, the bibimbap on its own doesn’t have much flavor. The sauce that comes with it sort of tastes a little like hoison with a lot of red chili paste in it, so it’s spicy and, I think, needed. I’d probably order something different if I went back, but it definitely wasn’t a terrible choice … plus it being served in the stone bowl is pretty cool. The sushi roll was great, even if a bit pricey. The sweet and spicy sauces on the sushi is what really made it stand out. Best thing I ate at Wuri. The chicken katsu was not very good. The chicken itself was fine — I’m pretty sure they either make the chicken up in-house, or use a good, not freaky-ass-sponge-chicken frozen patty — but the katsu sauce was just funky and needs some recipe tweaking. It almost tasted like mulling spice? It was a little bitter, strange, and just off-putting. Both of us agreed. My girlfriend opted to use soy sauce and the bibimbap sauce instead… can’t blame her for that. $ 55 bought two entrees, a sushi roll, and onion soup. Considering it’s a sushi place, that’s not all that expensive, but I’ve had better food from other sushi places for the same price. Yes, the sushi was the best part of Wuri, but that shouldn’t mean everything else has to be forgettable-ish. I’ll obviously be back(for more sushi and a different entrée), but I’m not as «sold» on this place as everybody else is.

This place is just getting started and I really hope it does well. I think they are still trying to figure their menu out but they are doing pretty well. Fresh food, decent portion sizes, and friendly atmosphere. Great for carry out also.

I am so happy that this place opened! There’s finally a nice little sushi place close by :) I went here for the first time today, and tried the chicken teriyaki. It was very good, and came with veggies and rice. The soup and salad come included(also good, I like their dressing). My friend, who had never tried sushi of any kind, came with me and also really enjoyed her meal. I’ll be returning

Actual rating is 3.5 stars. This is Japanese food made by Koreans. It’s very nice to have a good sushi place in Chestertucky. The sushi was good not great. A few of the rolls fell apart rather easily and were clearly haphazardy made. The sushi ingrediants were good but not really top quality. I don’t recommend paying extra for the fancy stuff, keep it simple. In terms of overall quality, this is glorified Kroger sushi made on the spot in a pleasant décor. The side salad was unremarkable, the miso soup excellent with more earthy flavor than usual. The real deals are the lunch specials especially the Korean selections. I had a huge bowl of hot bibinbop with beef, red chili paste, veggies, rice and fried egg on top. The whole mixture was served sizzling in the hot stone bowl for $ 8.50! A few caveats, the beef was dice cut, not the thin cut strips usually found in traditional bibinbop and some of the exotic veggies/mushrooms were non-existant. Was it the best bibinbop I ever had? No,(Chung Ki Wa is better) but at these prices it’s a minor inconvenience and was still very delicious! Welcome to the neighborhood Muri Sushi. You are a refreshing change in an area permeated with McFood on every corner.

My husband and I had great service and food and will definitely go back. There are a variety of sushi rolls from the basics, to some delightfu and uniquel house rolls. The love to their Philadelphia roll the smoked salmon which had a flavorful smokey taste. We finished a dessert of mango ice cream which was divine. I highly recommend this new restaurant.

We were excited to try out the new and only sushi place in town and were not disappointed. Clean restaurant, great service and the food was great. We tried some standard sushi and dkne of the specialty rolls it was wonderful. The chef even surprised us with a complimentary desert which was amazing tempura fried mango ice cream which I would never have ordered on my own but was fantastic. So happy to have a local sushi place. Welcome to the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

OK so we love sushi, normally we have to drive to Royal Oak to get anything really good! So I’m excited to share with you this new sushi place it’s in Chesterfield right in my own hometown! Wuri Sushi it literally is one of the better sushi places I’ve had. They actually have A sushi roll it’s called the volcano and it comes on fire people. So so good. In the mood for a good sushi try it out. Real friendly wait staff nice and clean environment I’m in love.

The customer service was great. Instantly greeted as soon as we walked through the door and the service was fast and efficient. The sushi was soooooooo fresh! I ordered miso and house salad which was good. Then I also order tsunami roll and the flower roll and tuna maki with avocado. They all were great. I will definitely be coming back.

A solid sushi experience for the Chesterfield area. There’s not a ton of atmosphere, but the rolls are good and they have takeout as well. As a bonus, they have little freebie appetizers; when we went, it was«Sweet Potato Saturday.» Try the Volcano roll if you like your rolls with a little spice. Next time I’ll try mango mochi ice cream for dessert.

Sushi in Chesterfield?!? Yes and it’s really good. They have the usual sushi suspects but they also have many Korean & Vietnamese dishes… Phở! I’ve had a few rolls, soup, salad and a seafood pancake which was all very tasty. Service was pleasant. I do wish they had booths and the décor could be a bit«softer» and more welcoming but other than that this place is just as good as any I’ve had on the east side.

First off, I’m very excited Chesterfield finally has a sushi place and not another burger joint! I just went to Wuri sushi for the first time and they’ve been open for only a ew days now, and I really really enjoyed it! The sushi was very fresh and they include a lots of pieces in each of their rolls(8 each I believe). The service was very good and the atmosphere was very laid back and casual. There is a sushi bar as well in the from that you can sit at. The miso soup was probably one of he best I’ve had in a long time, and the chesterfield roll was excellent and would totally recommend someone trying it. The only reason I knocked off a star was because of two minor things that I’m sure will get worked out within a few months of opening. I did not like that there was no actual booth option and that all the tables were stand alone wooden tables with wooden chairs. There’s really not a more intimate or quiet location in the place. The second reason was that for their sashimi, they don’t serve it over a rice roll. They serve it over some sort of cabbage, which kinda takes away from what I look for when I order it. Overall it’s a great place and must try around the area. Hopefully they do well!
