Great food and awesome service! Love the lunch special !! Choice of 2 hot dogs, a cheeseburger, or a tuna roll with a can of soda and fries for $ 4.00 can’t beat that! Tons of ice cream choices too!

While Clark’s Point Creamery holds a prime real estate spot being next to the beach and Fort Tabor, the ice cream is a bit expensive for the price. One big scoop is $ 2.50 and the flavor choices are a bit limited in comparison to other nearby creameries like Oxford Creamery but they do have all your favorites(probably 12 choices?). There are plenty of picnic style tables with umbrellas and plenty of space. There’s even a bunch of children’s playhouse equipment scattered about the lawn. They offer hot dogs and hamburgers and several variations on the«ice cream» theme. Overall, it’s a nice place but it’s neither better nor worse than any of the other creameries nearby and because of that, I’d give it 3-stars. PS: It’s cash only

Clark’s Point Cremery is only open during the summer and after driving by numerous times I finally checked it out yesterday. A great menu and even greater prices. $ 2 for a hamburger, $ 2 for onion rings and $ 4 for a HUGE banana split sundae that filled my stomach and a friend’s stomach. Tons of ice cream flavors to choose from, and the usual hamburger-hotdog type menu items. They even have linguica and Portuguese favorites to choose from. Plenty of picnic benches to sit on and a small playground for the toddler-age children. They only accept cash though so make sure to bring some. This is a good place to stop after spending an afternoon strolling Fort Taber Park or laying out on the beaches on the South End of New Bedford. They are open until 9pm every night of the week.
