Safe-Guard Transmissions

Dishonest, likes to play games with words. STAY AWAY. Find a mechanic
that will install a remanufactured transmission with a 3 year warranty, you will not be sorry. Went to safeguard for a transmission flush and filter change. Went to pick up the car and Kenny says I’m only going to charge you 95.00. I asked if he flushed the transmission and changed the filter and he said yes. A couple of days later I checked the fluid level and it was way over full which can damage a transmission. I also noticed the fluid did not look new. I checked under the car and it looked like the pan was off. I also traced the transmission lines and non had shown any signs that a trans flush had taken place. I called Kenny and told him he did not flush the transmission. He stated that there was metal in the pan and he can flush it when he sees that which is bull because that is normal wear and tare. I then stated you did not say that when I picked up the car, you said you did flush it. HE JUST WANTS TO SELL YOU A BULL CRAP REBUILD WHICH IS ONLY A REPAIR AND SEE YOU IN A YEAR.

Was warned away, but they seem busy, hence so many people can’t be wrong. $ 4000 dollars later, the computer wiring to the common 4L80e still goes into limp mode often. Been back 3x. Once more… sigh
