I would just start with calling a different company. I’ve been to one of these parties and it’s fabulous so I tried calling to schedule a party because nobody answered the phone, I sent a email. She responded that day only to say she was busy and would get back to me. About a week later she responded and confirmed a date after that I kept trying to get a response for things such as the picture we would be painting. Like two days before I was suppose to have my party she responded and said don’t worry I don’t work for free. Still have no idea about anything the day of my party so I sent her a email telling her no thank you … I will be booking with someone who is more professional and actually wants to do the job and maybe Also shows interest in sending information about the nights events when your scheduled for a event.

Not very professional. Wouldn’t email me after two weeks of attempting to pay her for a deposit for a private party. Just kept saying she was busy then just stopped responding, I booked with someone else way to many other options out there.

If you had asked me before I attended a uPaint! event of my interest in/ability to paint I would have said very little and none at all. Having been invited to a private event with my co-workers, I said what the heck. New to the job, this event was a perfect way to socialize with my colleagues in a relaxed, fun, and comedic setting all while delving into and learning a little bit about an art new to me. uPaint! is described as a mobile paint studio, and mobile it is! My facility’s dining room was transformed into an assortment of tables wrapped in brown paper, easels presenting fresh canvas, mason jars full of water, towels, aprons, paintbrushes, and paints all set up and ready for our artistic flare. Miranda, our very enthusiastic, engaged, and funny instructor, created an environment that was not only physically organized to participate in painting, but mentally comforting and supportive of our novice status. It can be scary to put paint to canvas… the permanence of paint vs. pencil per say can be anxiety provoking in the wrong setting. Step-by-step we walked through the basics of painting(like brush types, blending of colors, etc.). We were given time to work through each direction. Miranda demonstrated techniques which we then put to use… along with her assistant, we received tips, tricks, and suggestions on how to achieve our artistic visions. Here and there I had to take a break to build up my confidence in going forward. As a perfectionist, the uncertainty surrounding my final product made me hesitant… but there was plenty of support and positivity floating about the room to help me continue! With the wine flowing, laughter rising, and brushes alive with vibrant colors, time flew by and our interpretations of the intended«beach sunset scene» came to closure. Delighted by the experience, I was proud to stand amongst those I now knew a little bit better(perhaps on an artistic level I may have otherwise never encountered) to take photos and converse about our masterpieces. In my opinion, there is no better way to try out painting for the 1st(2nd. 3rd… and beyond) time! Though I didn’t have to personally pay for this session, in researching the cost on the uPaint! website, I found it to be quite an affordable way to set yourself up with the equipment and expertise needed to try out painting. I highly recommend this company and all it has to offer to all of the undiscovered artists out there!
