I have been coming here for over 40 years! I started as a little girl bowling on Saturday mornings then I brought my children and now my grandchildren! Love this place!

I went here for my birthday to celebrate with my girl friend. The bowling wasn’t bad at all but the bar was. First of all upon arrival I was disappointed to find out that the kitchen was closed. Then we went to go get drinks and my girlfriend got a few mixed drinks. The bar tender didn’t make the drinks right once and had to remake one about four times. Went back again to get a beer and she said that they stopped serving. Come to find out that was not the case. To make matters worse, we didn’t tip the bartender since she had horrible and slow service. The next day we check the bank account and the bar tender decided she wanted to add her own tip in, $ 30 bucks. Tried getting ahold of the manager today and after 5 times of calling and being told he wasn’t in today, he answered and is calling us back. I would never go there again.

Wonderbowl is your quintessential bowling alley located in the North end of New Bedford. They offer bowling(duh), arcade games, «Strikers Pub»(food/alcoholic beverages) and cosmic glow in the dark bowling on Friday and Saturday nights. Prices vary from $ 18 to $ 40/hr depending on the day and time you bowl. If you’re interested in taking it a step further then just a leisure activity they also have organized bowing leagues(adult, senior, summer, junior.) In addition to those leagues they have a league for disabled adults who can later compete in the Special Olympics! Really great place to have in this city.

Whenever I get a night off with no kids, I love to come to wonder bowl. It’s a cheap night out. Plus, there’s a bar and food. I got the bacon cheese fries and omg they were delicious.

Not a bad place, but need to hire some more wait staff is how I would sum this place up. Very big place with 40 ten pin lanes. If your going with the family or just looking for a night out it is really not a bad spot. They have a small bar/restaurant area for some food while you wait. Yes be prepared to wait, they do not take reservations and both times I have been I have waited at least an hour for a lane. Only downsides I see are the limited wait staff, they only had one young lady waiting on all 40 lanes! Ouch… The other being the lanes are pretty oily so if your into your bowling be prepared for that ball to fly down the lane, need to slow it way down for any movement.

Cool place on Friday & Saturday night with black lights and all. Not super clean but it’s bowling if you get sick of bowling go to the glow in the dark mini golf place down the street.

Fun place to bowl. Typical bowling alley, rent shoes, purchase socks if you forget them, rent lanes. I’m not sure if it’s every night or just weekends, but later in the evening they change the lights to glow-bowling atmosphere. Neon signs, music videos on the big screen tvs that come down and dancing. They have a bar and many times you see some tipsy people bowling later in the evenings. A great place to take a large group of friends. or family earlier in the evening.

Really big bowling alley. Also has a pub. First time going a couple weeks ago, now I want to go back, even though I am a super-awful bowler. Also they do rock n’ bowl on Saturdays, I believe, with big-ass screens. Or they’ll put sports on, like the Red Sox playoffs. :)
