Has everything I need in a gym, but the purpose of this review is to point out the privacy issue of the locks in the bathroom not just being unable to lock but the hinges are loose. Then you have a lot of water damage in the ceilings where the exercise equipment is. All that damage is creating mold!

I joined WOW in New Bedford the other day and went today for my first workout. The gym is spacious and the equipment is laid out orderly and generously spaced apart. My only complaint is instead of the workers sitting behind the desk chit chatting they could be cleaning the filthy mirrors. The dirty mirrors really detract from the appeal of the gym especially when you’re using the mirrors to execute good form when performing an exercise. I’m constantly looking at my reflection in the mirror to make corrections and adjustments to my form. The hand prints, sneeze projectiles, sweat marks and scuffs on the mirrors are just staring me in the face — it’s really distracting. When I go there tomorrow — I am going to approach and say something to the manager and I’ll report back on how poorly or well my observation is received.

I recently came back to this gym, and boy was it a mistake. It is so disgusting! The mirrors always have hand prints all over them. The women’s only room has a dirty rug that looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed in years! Plus it is torn in some places. The staff members never say hello, goodbye or have a nice day at the front desk. The manager, Jacob doesn’t care about the issues expressed. They should have someone running that place who takes pride in their facility and that actually gives a s***. The bathroom sink had a bucket under the sink for awhile, which is pretty sad. How much is this gym making a year? Well make sure you know this: They charge you a once a year club fee of $ 49.99 within the first month of your membership. I feel uncomfortable here, and will definitely cancel my membership a.s.a.p. I think you should go anywhere else but here.

Loooove so big

I belong to this gym. They have great hours (like 5am to midnight on weekdays!), a variety of cardio and weigh equipment, assorted fitness classes, and even babysitting, as well as a huge parking lot. They used to have a hiphop class that I really liked, but the instructor left. I wish they had more fitness classes into the evening (like after 7 or 8pm). They also need to have more than 6 channels available on the built-​in TVs on the cardio equipment! When I went to the WOW in Brockton the full set of basic cable was available. It’s unlikely you’ll ever pay $ 19.99/month (as their ads state) without paying a hefty fee to join, but you can usually negotiate your way into a decent gym fee/​month.
