Only comparison I have are two dance studio in Chicago, one of which has fantastic instruction, great atmosphere, fantastic students. This studio is comes closest of all the studios i’ve been to in Milwaukee(though still pales in comparison to the chicago studio I used to go). Unfortunately, there is only a limited number of studios in MKE, but this is probably the best because there are regular classes, quality of instruction is good, and an adequate number of students in the class. The only other studio I think could rival this studio one that that offers Lindy &ECS, though that’s all they specialize. Quality of instruction is fairly good! Dale and Ann are good teachers. The dance space is nice and clean. There is sequential classes for each dance(at least 2, maybe 3 if there’s enough interest). There’s also an intermediate class for those who mastered their beginner’s classes. Wish there were more students so more classes could be offered. My work has been pretty busy, but once my routine is more regular I hope to be able to take advantage more often. Cost is fairly reasonable $ 10/class(if you sign up for all 4 weeks) or $ 12/class(drop-in basis; however you’ll need to know the basics well to do a drop-in basis otherwise you might be confused because each week’s class build on the skills/patterns taught the week before). This is dance studio primarily focuses on ballroom, less so on Latin. Luckily recently Amanda began teaching here and there’s now WCS!(She was my teacher back in Chicago). hopefully she’ll expand the Latin dances. There’s a bit of a shortage of latin dance studios in my opinion where one can really build and continue to build their latin dance repertoire. I’m not a great dancer as I have two left feet and rely on muscle memory, but I do miss dancing and having a regular studio go to, particularly one with regular social dances. This is as close as it comes to it.
