Ok first of all — disclaimer — I did not shop here and an not even a motorcycle person and don’t live in New Berlin. That being said evidently my credit card was hacked and someone in another state tried to use it to buy $ 1400 worth of motorcycle parts from Hals. Sharp-​eyed staff noticed that the shipping address was a different state from the billing address and called me to inquire about the order. I was able to cancel my card and avoid other fraudulent charges. Talked to LeRoy at Hal’s and he was very friendly and attentive to resolve this. I don’t know if they are any good at motorcycle stuff but attention to service saved me a headache. Wish more places did this. Thanks guys.

Bought my bike here last year. Had a really bad time dealing with the salesman… once he had my money I could barely get him to return my calls. And he dropped the ball several times. Just recently took the bike in for repairs after a collision and the experience was very similar. I left 5 messages for the service center to call me back, and I never heard from them. They finally called saying the repairs were complete. But I was trying to get them to do some customization while the bike was apart. They also said they wouldn’t store the bike over winter for free, even though the bill was over $ 3,500. Won’t be coming back to Hal’s ever again.

Passing through new Berlin and I saw Hal’s Harley Davidson so I dropped in to get my souvenir shirt. Shops pretty huge, there’s tons of accessories and clothing to choose from and a pretty good section of discounted gear which I ended up finding 2 gems in. The ladies were super helpful and the environment was pretty pleasant. The sales guys weren’t trying to ram a Harley down my throat which was awesome.

I haven’t made a big purchase here but everytime I stop in for anything they are all very helpful and friendly.
Bonus points for being knowledgeable about Harely’s little bro, Buell. They have a great selection and can answer any questions about them.
