Papa Murphy’s

I liked nothing about this location. I’ve had other Papa Murphy’s at different locations many times in the past and are usually fine. This spot was far different. Rude staff who are lazy and slow. It took 15 min. of me staring them down after I walked in and placed an order until they asked if I called ahead. I told them I walked in and ordered a while ago. They said it’s probably in line and just be a bit longer.
It wasn’t even that busy; For a Saturday night they should have been sufficient. Eventually I leaned over the counter and said I’ve been waiting 20 minutes. They didn’t even remember me. Finally I got my food and receipt… Then realized they overcharged me! Not going back to this one.

I’ve been coming to this Papa Murphy’s for years. I’ve always loved their service (fast & friendly) and I LOVE the pizza and garlic/​cheese bread.
I moved to Chicago 3 years ago and haven’t had Papa Murphy’s…for a little over 3 years. I went back and their service was just as good, everyone was super nice, and the pizza was incredible.
I’m a meat eater, but my favorite is the Gourmet Vegetarian pizza pie (Artisan Thin Crust, Creamy Garlic Sauce, Spinach, Zucchini, Mushrooms, Artichoke Hearts, Tomatoes, Mixed Onions, Herb & Cheese Blend).

Overall, I like papa Murphy’s and I like this location specifically. The pizzas are usually ready pretty quickly. To those who are not familiar with papa Murphy’s, you bake the pizzas at home. I like the chicago style stuffed pizza the best. Most of the employees here are really nice, there’s one girl here who’s a little snarky sometimes. More so her fellow workers, but sometimes the guests. Not cool! The only really bad experience I’ve had here was once I scne in with my grandpa and he had a gift card and they couldn’t figure out how to get it to work. They asked if we had a receipt and when we said it was at home they indicated that we wouldn’t be able to use it. Finally one of the guys got it to work, but I wasn’t very happy that they wanted my 76 year old grandpa to go home and get a gift card receipt. Overall, this is a great place to get a pizza from, I’ll definitely be back. The gift cards, however, seem a little shady.
