We had a lot of fun. The lanes malfunctioned, ALOT. Staff were very nice. $ 24 for 2 hours if bowling. It was worth it.

Well, bowling alleys are bowling alleys. Unless it’s one of those new, fancy, hipster ones, they are all usually kind of run down and smell musty. This is no exception. However, we had so many issues with the lanes that it was a subpar experience. Our lane would not clear away the pins, even when we hit reset. It happened repeatedly and the guy came over to try to fix it, eventually he moved us to another lane which was really slow – it took a long time for the machine to clear away the pins for the next person. Also – this is a small thing, but – there was a sharp/broken piece of metal poking off the side of our ball return and it cut the leg of one of my group. It was just a small scratch, but could be a hazard to a small child. It’s not good to have sharp metal edges around kids, you know? :) When it comes to bowling, you don’t have much choice in New Bern, so…

I would give zero stars if possible. Rude, lazy staff, neglected and outdated equipment. This place is only in business because there is no competition. If you want to bowl take a short drive to cape Carteret, Jacksonville or greenville. Complete crap hole.

Went here today on a holiday Monday. Not crowded when we arrived but filled up with families right after we started. Only two employees and they ran their tails off helping everyone and getting the job done, and managed to remain pleasant and friendly the whole time. Place is in good shape, wasn’t dirty, and we had a great time. We’ll be back. I can’t see what the others were complaining about. Nothing they said was visible to me.

It’s a rainy Saturday and after hearing the two parties in front of us get turned away from bowling even though over half the lanes were empty we chose to just play laser tag. I realize they had lanes reserved for later in the day but I could tell the people in front of us had called to be sure they could bowl. At any rate we played laser tag which was fun. Thankfully another group wanted to play as well. I honestly doubt we would come back to bowl.

Definitely not for the serious bowler. Approaches are dirty, staff doesn’t clean up balls and shoes and apparently bowling shoes are optional. Been here three times and same M.O. Always at least two lanes wearing street shoes while the staff stands behind the desk and watches their friends bowl. If you have another alley option don’t waste your time here.
