My second time here at this restaurant. The last time December 28^th for my birthday. I was expecting inconsistency with my meal. The last proprietor there at this location. Could not cook the same thing twice. Was constantly disappointed. Maria’s on the other hand. Is fantastic my beef chimichanga was not overpowered with spices. I could actually taste the beef flavor. So tender would melt in your mouth. I love the queso sauce as you can see portions are very large. Prices are great! Very clean including the bathroom. And the dining room floors. As I pay attention to details. The service was impeccable. Even as busy as our waiter was we felt like we were never ignored and he was there for a beckon call. If this place ever gets its liquor license. It would be the number one place for Mexican cuisine in New Boston Texas! Although alcohol does not matter to me I prefer sweet tea.

We talked with Maria and were as impressed with her as we were with the food. I don’t know why, but we felt at home, here.
We had lunch specials, but they were sizable, enchiladas with fajitas spooned over them. Who would have thought of that? Lunch was excellent and inexpensive.

They have delicious cheese enchiladas, which are the only thing I get at Mexican restaurants. Always good service and great food!

Order the beef fajitas and had more onions than the beef and tortillas was hard and waitress kept coming over bothering us asking if we were done

We really enjoyed our dining at Maria ’ s. The service was fabulous. There were 3 of us. We all ordered different things but we each loved what we got. The chips and salsa were great. I am so glad there is a good Mexican food restaurant in New Boston again. If I had to say anything negative it would be that I thought the portion size was a little small for the price but not so much that I will not return.
