We went through the drive-through to pick up coffee and breakfast tacos while in town. There was a good-sized line, but it moved quickly. There was also an employee out by the drive thru menu sweeping up, which is good. I’ve been going to Bill Millers since I was a kid, and the food was as good as ever. Tacos were piping hot and fresh, coffee was good for this type of restaurant. Salsa was good. I would definitely go back.

Stopped by here for breakfast today. Food was decent. The person serving the food was nice but the person checking us out was very rude. We weren’t given silverware or even told where they were. We all one by one had to ask for them and were just handed a plastic fork. I needed a knife to cut my pancakes and sausage. I ended up using my fingers to tear them. Maybe some training on customer service and some silverware in the dining room somewhere would go along way. We did leave with full bellies and the pancakes were amazing, but the rude service ruined it, well that and cutting things with my hands

Constantly not giving us what we order, and that’s even with me asking or reiterating my daughters specific requests on her order. Then I call, literally just a few minutes ago(12÷15÷15 at 1:15pm) only to have a bored manger sound unenthusiastic and speak with a «who gives a crap attitude», hence the simple fact that I had ask repeatedly of the manger was on the phone, only to be told very blatantly that he was answering another call. So let’s see here: bad food, cold food, cold customer service from the attendees to upper management… And the list goes on and on! I wonder if corporate or the owners know who exactly is running their company, gosh I hope not bc of so that would explain why their establishment lacks in every aspect!

Honestly that was the worst BBq I have ever had. The bread was soggy, the meat was all fat, and I only got like 8 fries. I will never est there again. Also my friend said the chicken sandwich, and green beans were aweful.

Absolutely love their pumpkin pie, I look forward to it every fall. The cashiers are always sweet and friendly. I’m a fan.

I really had a good meal here. It isn’t the most over the top place for BBQ, but it was reasonably priced, tasted like home cooking and I liked it all. I’m definitely going to be a regular here. I ate way too much. I liked the sausage — not too hot. The brisket melted in my mouth. The beans were smoking hot and tasted like my mother in law makes. The pecan pie was so so. This totally beat my expectations.

The worst barbecue. Ever. It was all bad, from the sauce to the meat to the sides. And dirty. I can’t believe we wasted money here.

The good: Prices are very reasonable. People are almost always nice. Time is usually pretty quick. Restaurant appears pretty clean. Bad: BBQ is pretty low quality meat heavily sauced. Suggestions: Chicken sandwich. Excellent quality Great value. Generous portion.

Hash browns, hash browns love the hash browns! The breakfast tacos on the weekend have an avocado option! The corn tortillas with hash browns and avocado… Delicious! The tea is good-ish, drive thru is friendly

Will not return. Staff doesn’t pay attention. Placed an order In drive thru and yep I arrived home with not what I ordered. The roll was hard and stale. I asked for specific pieces of chicken and didn’t get. I will drive further and pay more for better food, better customer service and an accurate order. Gave the place a chance numerous times but appears they clearly do not have what it takes.

I was a little reluctant about Bill’s coming to New Braunfels. I am from San Antonio and never really thought of Bill’s as a great BarBQ joint… something sort of unique and niche-like…more Fast Food Like… but not REALLY a BarBQ joint. After several visits… Happy Conclusion: Bill’s is just a better Deal than Cooper’s and Rudy’s. Yes, the brisket still has that Ham-Like texture… as do the ribs… but it sure is tasty. Here’s the main thing… I spend HALFASMUCH when I go to Bill’s instead of the«Big 2»…I tend to buy less meat but get more and tastier sides and leave feeling like a got a really good deal rather than… I just got ripped. I still go get a brisket fix at Rudy’s once in awhile. I still go to Cooper’s for the best Pork on the planet. But I go to Bill’s WAYMOREOFTEN… and enjoy it more. Welcome to town Bill Miller’s. Always well managed. Employees always well trained. Food always consistent. The place is always clean. I’m gonna forgive the goofy… no curb-cut at the drive through lane… I figure you couldn’t have fit the site any other way. I am not at all surprised to see some negative reviews here for Bill’s. Cooper’s and Rudy’s are to Bill’s…what Ruth’s Chris is to Sizzler. Anyone who thinks that Bill’s is a $ 20/pound a-la-carte deep smoked Texas BarBQ place had no idea that they just left a really good fast-casual restaurant that sells good fried chicken and barbeque and feeds a lot more Texans than all of those other places put together. Bill’s is Bill’s. I’ll be happy to go to one of the other places with you… if YOU promise to pick up the check.

Bill Miller is average to slightly below average BBQ with a tremendous amount of value. There isn’t a place where you can find a cheaper BBQ lunch or dinner and if you’re from San Antonio you’ve likely been to one before. This location is one of the nicer ones I’ve been in. It’s clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and the bathrooms are kept at par. The food, on the other hand, isn’t the best in town. With Coopers and Rudy’s down the street, I’d be hesitant to come here again. It’s not terrible, but the BBQ at the other two spots is much, much better. Still, for low grade food, you can’t beat the prices here. It’s that cheap. And, the food is edible. Put it this way, if you eat at Whataburger, Chicken Express, McDonalds or Denny’s, you’ll think the food at Bill Miller’s is great. Why would I come back? There isn’t a cheaper piece of pecan pie in town. And honestly, it’s not bad. Where else can you find a better than average(not great) piece of pecan and other pies(last time we were here they had apple and apple cobbler, too) for around $ 1.50? You can’t. Lower your expectations and you’ll love this place, when it comes to value and large portions. If you are from Austin and only eat at trendy places, stay away.

An open letter to the owner of this Bill Miller’s store. This location according to Unilocalers is an embarrassment to the brand. I thought it was due to new store jitters, but 9 months later, consumers are still being delivered greasy sub par food and poor service, unlike the other Bill Miller locations. What gives? Fire someone if you need to but get competent management please… — Prior review: This is a brand new nice location off the interstate on 46 across from Smashburger. You can tell it’s still brand new because all the employees are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. My problem is the food was prepared terribly. I come here only for the fried chicken. The white meat was all dried out and overcooked, and the thighs were super greasy and old. Its not the young kids who are to blame, it’s the manager; why put out that greasy or dry chicken. My favorite location is the Schertz location – always excellent. The Pico too had too much water in it. They’re supposed to drain that off. Design related, I hate that they don’t have the condiment bar in the middle of the restaurant. They have it by the register, where you have to walk back into the line to get some more bread or Pico. There is the butter and ketchup on a sidewall, so there’s no reason why they couldn’t also put the bread and pico there too. Some people don’t like to have to go back a couple of times past the register in the line. People like to feel comfortable such as the other stores are laid out. Okay, this is my rant for the day. This store is very spacious though. They needed a bill Millers in New Braunfels.

Decided to try The new Bill Miller on 46 in NB tonight. Decided to go thru the drive thru since the weather was crappy. It’s about 10 miles from home. Once I finally arrived home I had 2 orders of fried instead of 2 chicken dinners. The thing is there were only 2 cars in the drive thru at the time. My 1st and last visit. Manager wanted to know if I needed anything else I said nope but it’s my last visit. Got home fries looked like someone pored a bottle of grease on them. Chicken was very greasy as well. Ate 1 pc through the rest away. Very poor food quality for a Bill Miller.

I prefer Bill Miller beef brisket over Rudy’s. BM’s Brisket is juicier and tender. The atmosphere is family friendly and fast food like. For a carry-out or lunch, BM’s works.

Now I can enjoy Bill Millers when I come to New Braunfels. Today I got a sausage poor boy with fries and tea. Couldn’t help myself when I saw the pies so I got one. Always fresh and tasty with great service. Will I come back? Oh yes!

We were very excited to get a Bill Miller’s in our town! It has been opened for about a month, month and a half. I’m sad to say this location is giving their company a horrible reputation. Out of the 4 times I have been to this location, they have been out of almost every major menu item. We have been consistently disappointed and to be honest, we have no interest in going to this location again. The first time, they were out of brisket, bread, and chicken. The second time they were out of chicken, brisket, and sausage. The third time they were out of the same items and that time we just left to go to a competitor. Last night I went to this location and they were out of 2⁄3 items I had order. Sausage, lemon meringue pie, but they did have the potato salad. When I got home, I discovered that the potato salad portion was half of what it is at any other Bill Miller location. I asked the manager if they had a survey and he said no. I told him that every time we go, they are always out of most of the items that are on the menu. The manager apologized. He didn’t offer any compensation, he didn’t even seem to really care. At least the first time they were out of brisket, chicken, and bread, they gave us a salad. Granted, I would much rather have the products I want, ANDPAYFORTHEM, than to be comp’t. However, I’ve been in the customer service industry, including the food industry, for two decades, and this location is a joke. Unfortunately, as much as my family LOVES Bill Miller, we are not going to be going to this location again. The closest location is about 20+ miles away(In Schertz) and unless we are driving into San Antonio, we will not be enjoying their food any longer. Just wanted to give y’all a heads up, considering New Braunfels is full of people who love BBQ and is completely a tourist town.
