Comal Event Rental

I rented 50 chairs that we picked up for my wedding. Very reasonable prices for the amount of time I had them for. Good fast and friendly service.

My first experience on the phone with them was not a good one. I had questions and was told to email them. So I emailed them and my questions were answered. The day of my wedding, I was told the delivery would arrive at 11. I received a call saying they were behind and it would be noon. When the delivery arrived I received a phone call saying they wouldn’t be able to deliver because there was a hill. Imagine my horror when I look out the window and see my 69 year old dad and 65 year old uncle carrying tables for the delivery men. They made a stressful day even more stressful. The delivery men were lazy and just watched as my family and friends did their job. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I would advise looking for a company who has employees who are not lazy.

I called Comal rentals for some items I needed for my wedding and was told I would get a call back the same day letting me know if they had what I needed. After no call back I called the next day and was told they were very busy but were working on my quote. I called about twice weekly for the next 2 – 3 weeks and was told each time they were still working on my quote. At this time I was so close to my wedding date, I was getting worried. I sent an email asking to please at least let me know that they had the items I needed and I could wait for the actual quote. The next day I got an email saying they would not be able to rent to me. I feel that they had the items I requested considering I was told they were working on a quote but because I was requesting it get to me in a reasonable time frame they wouldn’t even work with me. Thank goodness for Whim event rentals in dripping springs. I called them after being treated so rudely by Comal rentals and they got a quote to me the same day I called.

We rented the tent and linens for our wedding this past April from Comal Rental. My mom interfaced with them mostly but I did have some interaction as well.
Our wedding was at a venue that they said they frequently set tents up at. They assured us that a 20×50 ft tent would fit in the area we wanted it in. We eyed the area and disagreed but were assured that it would fit. Well, when the tent showed up… it didn’t fit. Luckily the table configuration we decided on fitted under a smaller tent and the rental company had a smaller tent for us that day. I can only imagine how awful it would have been to not have a tent at all with our dinner just before sunset in 90 degree weather!
Also, with the linen rental they did not supply us with clasps to secure the table cloths to the table. My sister had to call them frantically and go pick them up a few hours before the ceremony when the table cloths kept flipping everything off the table.
Little things like the size of the area and the clips would have made the day go my smoother but at the end of the day everything worked out and they provided us with a pretty decent price. They refunded my card for using the smaller tent without needing to be reminded about it and I really appreciated that.
