What an awesome place to buy and or smoke a few stories while in Gruene for tubing or taking in the wonderful live music or shops. Everyone there is friendly and super knowledgeable. If you show up on some Saturdays, you can even get a straight razor shave. Swing by and check it out for yourself.

What a great concept! The super friendly owners and staff are very knowledgable and helpful. The lounge is welcoming and very relaxing! If you want a great cigar and would like an awesome place to enjoy it, The Republic is definitely what you’re looking for. Guys, it’s perfect for you — drop the wife off for shopping in beautiful Gruene and head over !

Great place. Very friendly owners. If your looking for a good place to get a cigar, or even a place to relax while smoking you cant ask for a better place. Recommend everyone getting a membership.
