Whataburger

A favorite place my dad likes to eat. He enjoys meeting with men around his age (90) for breakfast and to talk about fishing and whatever else is on their minds.

I’ve never had such an incompetent person take my order until today. I would say the woman’s name but she didn’t give me a receipt when I asked for one, instead saying it’ll be in my bag at the next window. I told the lady my order over three times and she still manages to get it wrong and charging me for an extra drink. No where in the conversation did I say I wanted a coke. I told her over and over again whatachicken for my garden salad and she goes «you wanted grilled chicken right» NO. Told her again at the pay window I wanted whatachicken… What kind of chicken did I get in my salad? Grilled chicken. Definitely not coming back to this location ever again.

For someone like me who loves Whataburger meaning I grew up on it. I am beyond disappointed in this location. I went in there today, March 8^th 2015 around 9:30 p.m. on my way to Austin. the food took 35 minutes to cook, it came out cold and my onion rings were extremely soggy. they served me a drink and the cup had a slow leak at the bottom. that by the time I got home the drink holder was flooded. when I went into the restaurant while I was still there to tell them they messed up my burger, I was rudely approached by a young lady who after I told her the problems just disappeared 5 minutes later young man came and asked me if I had been helped. Once I told him certain items were left off my burger it took him 5 minutes to get the item and offered me a half ass apology. as the loyal customer Whataburger this is the type of location that makes me want to not come back. if someone from corporate reads the I would terminate the whole crew. Or at least send them back for training.

I craved a hamburger and set out early in the evening to get one, thinking that Whataburger in New Braunfels just off Seguin Street would be convenient. Wrong.
When I arrived one truck was in front of me. I pulled up to order after him and then the wait ensued. I sat there for nearly 25 minutes waiting to get to the window. A line of cars were eventually behind me. I even killed my motor. When he finally got his order, I pulled up and my order was waiting. I told the girl I hoped it was hot. She assured me it was. Wrong. As I pulled away, I tasted a french fry and it was limp and cold. Never again. Right.

When I go to Whataburger, I usually expect good food and good service, because Whataburger is generally very good about that. This one however, was awful. Worst Whata experience I’ve had. While the restaurant was packed and loud, the employees were calling out orders so quietly that no one could hear them. It slowed down the process and took forever for us to get our food. The employees all seemed to be lazy and incompetent. After waiting almost half an hour for our food, they got our order wrong. But we had no time to get it replaced, so we left hungry with no lunch. I would not recommend this Whataburger to anyone. Don’t give this kind of poor service your money

Moving away from Texas causes me to remember some of the things I like from there — bbq, tex-​mex and Whataburgers. There is something about the way they cook their burgers that makes them particularly tasty to me. The place was clean, the service was quick and the food was, well, Whataburger good.

Please make use of fresh food while preparing mine, Mr & Mrs. Whataburger. For the money you charge, I should have top shelf quality, wouldnt you agree? WHY would you charge for cheese? its a burger joint! Im so dispappointed. Love your burgers: WHEN FRESH, not NASTY. Get it together

youn get what you pay for. easy parking, reasonably clean. The food is lousy. My hamburger frequently looks like it has been held under someones arm pit. My order is corect about 50% of the time. I used to love to go to Whataburger, now I avoid eating there.

WHAT-​A-​BURGER!!! Good old burgers! I’ve actually met people who can’t wait to come back to Texas and have one of their yummy burgers! This location always brings back memories of late nights, or being exhausted from tubing the River and looking forward to just eating! I’m a big fan of customizing my food. I love their choices and that burgers are made to order. Stick to #5, which comes with BACON+Cheese, food of the Gods! I add extra Jalapenos because I can :) I have to be honest, I have ordered their salads but are not the best. They have been refrigerated and definitely not made to order like their burgers. Whenever they offer A-​1 burger (which is once a year, I think) I can’t pass it up! I love A-​1 sauce and make an effort to eat it with everything-​lol :) FYI a couple of months ago we tried to find the original Whataburger in Corpus Christi. When googling which location that was, 500 000 hits stated they were the original location. Fact: Original Location doesn’t exist! Was tore down long ago :(
My advise to you: Customize your burger, you have the power for it to be delish!
