We signed up for the special at a home show this spring. Eventually got them to come out. They tried to get out of sending us the $ 25 gift card they owed us, but eventually agreed. The guy that did the work was pretty good so no complaints there. However we were told that it would involve brush cleaning for the ducts. Surprise, surprise. Guess what, that’s extra. Stuck with the basic. The gift card never came. Called them a few months later to check on it because we forgot about it. Apparently they went out of business sometime this summer. The company that has the phone number now somehow«acquired» their old phone number, and they just happen to be in the same business — Aero something. How convenient. Things like that don’t just happen. It’s probably the same guys with a new name to operate under. Time to hunt for a reputable company since I need to get this done again.

We signed up for a groupon to have our ducts cleaned… we contacted Aspen Air and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday. The day came and went with no call or contact from Aspen Air — and now when we call their phone number there is a «this service is unavailable». Disappointed to say the least in the missed appointment with no word from the company. Although in looking at the other reviews it was probably a blessing in disguise! Buyer beware!

Had Aspen Air come to clean my ducts after buying a groupon. We recently purchased our home so I also agreed to the dryer vent cleaning… Huge mistake. The technician failed to clean the debris from the dryer when he was done, which ruined a load of laundry that went in the dryer shortly after. The dryer wreaked of smoke for days afterward. As I mentioned earlier we recently purchased the home and last owner had the furnace serviced and repaired as needed. The service company maintained a record of service on a sticker placed on the furnace. During the cleaning the Aspen Air tech covered these records with an Aspen Air sticker. There was as plenty of empty space to place his sticker without covering up the service records which could have been helpful to me as a new home owner. Try another company, I will never use them again!!!

The day after I wrote this review, I came home to a gas leak! Not cool. I have 2 children under 4 and was unable to be in my home until 7pm that night. I was also unable to leave the house since we had to call Xcel energy to come check the leak. After learning that the leak was non-lethal, I called Aspen Air who offered to send someone out the next day. I argued with them and they called the on-call tech to come out but we would have had to wait another hour before they could get there. Fortunately, all that was wrong was a loose nut so my husband fixed it himself, and when Aspen called back we agreed to have the service techs out the next day to double-check everything. I have contacted Brad who calls himself a Comfort Advisor to let him know how disappointed we are with everything but have yet to hear back. I am cutting some slack due to the holiday but I am not impressed and was extremely inconvenienced.
