Autozone

I went in there to find a fuse. They had no reps on the floor, in fact everyone kept coming up to me because I was dressed for my office job. I went up to the commercial auto desk and asked for the two guys there to help me find a fuse. Unfortunately one of them had their lunch on the counter so maybe I shouldn’t have bothered them. I explained I was having problems finding the correct fuse because I couldn’t match the model number. I explicitly asked for them to help me and they kept giving me answers that didn’t help whatsoever– including telling me what I was holding was a fuse (duh). I got pissed off from having this conversation with representatives that wouldn’t get off their butts tp help me find the right fuse. Thanks autozone! I went to the other auto shop in the new brite plaza and they actually helped me get what I needed. That’s where I will be going for now on. Literally the rudest customer service experience I’ve had ever.

The alternator decided to kick the bucket in my truck today, but the friendly people at autozone tested my battery & alternator to let me know which one I had to replace. All with a smile. Service is great here :)

Hmph! Yet another nationwide chain of stores breaks through my penchant for negative reviews. Where’s the grumpy service, inadequate knowledge, and poor selection I’ve come to expect from the large-​scale corporate retail industry?
Anyway, really nice fellow at Auto Zone today took care of me for free. They deliver on their promise of free computer scans when your Check Engine light comes on, and he came right out to my car and did it. Unfortunately, the news wasn’t too pretty, but that ain’t Auto Zone’s fault…
Look, I know why they do this. It’s meant to induce reciprocity, and guilt you into actually buying something in the store. But you know what? This time I don’t mind. Their prices are pretty good on the things I need for my car. I’ll be back in soon for an actual retail purchase.
