I don’t like Greek Pizza. Normally, three stars is the maximum I’d give for such an establishment… But the man serving us today was just so nice… we were halfway through a hard day of moving, and he served us with grace and a smile. Exceptional considering this place is located in a really seedy area of New Britain. Typical menu, cheap prices, and decent enough food. Not a bad choice for pickup, delivery, or even eat-in.

What made me get past their small pizza being 11.50 was being offered a free 2liter. The woman that took my order was very nice, and so was the delivery guy: D I prefer more tomato sauce, but its cheesy and thick so 2⁄3 ain’t bad. I’d order from them again! I’ve got my boyfriend on phone munching on East Side Pizza, and we’re watching Super Bowl. Touchdown while I write this? Priceless. Go Green Bay!

The salads, sandwiches and hot foods are forgettable. This place, however, has the very best pizza in New Britain. The pie’s not overcooked; but is darkly done on the bottom. They don’t over-cook the ingredients, so the cheeese, sauce and toppings are juicier than most. Well, maybe«juicier» is going too far. But the pies we tried didn’t have that hard, sticky, «plastic cheese» texture that other local pies tend to have. And the crust; they know how to bring the gluten to a lovely, chewy state that evokes better pizzas had in NYC, New Haven and the like. For pizza in New Britain, this is the place.
