The package office here is full of thieves. In my time living here, out of 8 – 10 packages I’ve ordered, 2 have gone missing. They had tracking numbers and I know they made it to the package office, but they ‘lost’ them and claimed to have no record of them being delivered.

Jason M. and I lived in Pebblebrook when we first started to live together. It was a wonderful couple of years. I agree with my now fiancé that Pebblebrook is not perfect, but considering how expensive safe housing is in the Hartford area, you are not going to get any better of a value. I recommend that if you are visiting Pebblebrook, go to and/or and submit an inquire because if you sign a lease, then you get a $ 100 Visa gift card. My recommendation with Pebblebrook is to try to get a unit in the H complex because the sunlight hits the area perfectly whereas for the other units, it can get dark easily. Also, it is a lot quieter because you are not near the pool. I loved having a balcony because we often had dinners there during the summer.
The apartment was very spacious and we were able to have a couple of Seders. I loved having a walk-in closet in the master bedroom. Right now, the foyer is getting a facelift with new paint, lighting, and glass doors. Maintenance was always there when we needed some repairs. Even though it was in New Britain, I never felt that I was living there. People assumed that I lived in Farmington or West Hartford because it was so close to the West Farms area. At the same time, I loved walking up the Brittany Farms loop because it was so quiet.

Is Pebblebrook the perfect apartment complex? No, but when you consider the fact that this is one of the absolute cheapest apartments in the Hartford Area that is not located in a gun-crime district, you’d be hard pressed to find a better value. Again, don’t expect super-refined living… Things to expect include: –Older fixtures and cabinetry. The appliances work very well, and will be replaced for no charge if necessary… But don’t move in expecting to find Viking appliances either… –Maintenance has, at times, given us trouble. They have a history of not returning calls, not performing work that we asked them to, and blaming others for their own incompetence. –Some residents are a bit careless and leave crap around the dumpsters. –The tennis courts are in bad shape. –No open-flame grills per city code. –There are some college students here. By no means a majority, though those that are here get a little rowdy at times. But the good WAY outweighs the bad. Pebblebrook is just good solid living for young couples, new families, empty-nesters, or particularly affluent college students. Benefits include: –850 square foot apartments with large closets, master BR has walk-in closet. Most apartments have small decks. –Free heat, hot water, and cooking gas. –Quiet safe neighborhood on private-ish road. Security guards hired for protection during the night, just in case. –Pool, tennis courts(though in poor condition), small gym in each building. –Plenty of parking for you and your visitors. –Laundry machines on the ground floor, which uses a card system. –Geographically convenient to EVERYTHING. Target is literally across the street, the mall is down the road, Downtown Hartford is 7 miles away. –The administrative staff is nothing short of SUPERB. From the moment we signed our lease, they have been helpful, reliable, quick, and professional. If only they could teach the maintenance workers to live by the same work ethic. –Maintenance does deserve some credit, I suppose. They do keep the grounds very clean(despite the aforementioned messy residents), and they fix what’s broken, eventually… We also qualified for a $ 99 deposit. That was clutch. I think it’s fair to say that Pebblebrook is «New Britain» in name only. There’s nothing«Hard Hittin’» about it.
