This is my closest drug store and a nice one at that. I had a scrip filled here, and they had it ready exactly when I said I was going to come back to pick it up. The pharmacy tech was exceptionally friendly and professional too.
Swell deals on the non-​Rx stuff too. Just picked up some 2-​Liter bottles of Diet Coke for 88 cents! it seems like most drug stores do that these days… their regular prices are pretty bad, but when something goes on sale, it REALLY goes on sale.
Unlike some stores (read my review of the Westfarms Target), Rite Aid was well stocked with bottled water for the impending natural disaster we faced in October. There’s also a Blockbuster rental machine in front of the store (operates the same as Redbox), and ample parking, as this location never seems to get too busy.
Too bad it’s on the corner of Allen and Stanley… not the finest neighborhood on the planet, but then again, you could do worse in New Britain… a LOT worse.
