Best service around! They were kind enough to give me a brand new tire and tire rotation all for free! And they were quick with the service as well!

My situation: 2 years ago i bought a 2011 Kia Sportage through Carmax. I had a cosigner but still a super high interest rate (17% yeah, I know). Anyway for 2 years Ive basically been paying nothing but interest. Well my cosigner now needed to come off my loan. She saved my ass when i needed her and now I want to return the favor. But as most know. it takes 30 days to destroy your credit and 7 – 10 years to fix it. So refinancing was out, the only way to make this work was to roll the inequity into another car with a new cosigner. The new cosigner. no problem. but I was upside down like $ 8600!!! End result. I left with a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport ES AWD at a 7% interest rate mind you. I couldn’t be happier or in a better position
I know my deal couldn’t have been done without them. They not only helped me, they helped my friend (my original cosigner) and I couldn’t be happier with the turnout. I freakin’ love my car! Special kudos to Phil in Finance, I know he was handed something pretty impossible and he was so great about it. Even though I was discouraged. he wasn’t. He kept me in the loop, he actually seemed excited about the challenge and like he actually cared about me as a person which is something you NEVER experience with the Finance Department of a dealership.
My mom and step father (Ray) came with me when I signed the paperwork and when Phil left the office for a couple minutes Ray mentioned that in all his life, when he has purchased vehicles (of which he has purchased many), he has never once felt like it was an «enjoyable experience». Signing has always been unpleasant, bc the Finance guy is always so serious, and in all honesty makes you second guess what you’re doing. Ray was very impressed with Phil at how he actually made it a pleasant experience. fun even.
I definitely recommend this dealership, and Phil to everyone and anyone. Hands down the best experience I or my family has ever had with a dealership.

Absolutely AWFUL service!
I (regretfully) purchased a car from this place. Up until I purchased it, I was getting wonderful service from everyone. Since then, I have been dealing with the worst customer service! I chased them around for months without getting any response (no emails, phone calls back). I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I usually come here for service when I get coupons in the mail. Kris, the service manager, could not be nicer. Always a pleasure to talk to.
My experiences here, however, have never been flawless. This month I asked the service department to check on about 10 things for me and they just didn’t. They also charged me for a brake inspection which was supposed to be included with my coupon. Last year I asked for Synthetic Blend oil and I got full Synthetic instead, so now I have to continue to pay a little more for every oil change. There seems to possibly be a disconnect between the service that you ask for and the service that gets done by the mechanics.
I’ll probably keep coming here for cheap oil changes and tire rotations when I get coupons, but not much else.

Went here for some engine work on my late model Mitsubishi after the mechanic seemed somewhat knowledgeable on the phone.
I met with a junior mechanic in the morning, who said he would get the mechanic I spoke to. Instead, he had me wait for 10 minutes before coming back and entering the vehicle VIN information himself. Following that, I brought my car around the back, as he had asked, and a gruff, ornery, bald-​headed man stalked out and accused me of interfering with his truck delivery by bringing my car back there. I explained, several times, that I did not initially see the service entrance, and he was nevertheless rude, discourteous, and highly unprofessional towards me.
If this is how they treat paying customers it is a wonder they are still in business. Someone makes an appointment to have his car looked at and instead gets third-​rate service and an earful of hateful garbage from the head manager.
I would not take my car there if the car sprouted wings and crashed itself.
For the sake of common sense, look at Barbarino or Fairfield Mitsubishi instead.

They performed a 27-​point inspection on our 2012 Lancer GT that we bought from them. It was running fine before, but we left with a lawn mower. After bringing it back the next day, they updated the computer because of a misfire. Still not driving right. Some inspection! Talked to service manager who defended technician who drove it afterward for 8 miles stating all was fine! Needless to say, service still stinks at Schaller. We also notified Mitsubishi Motors of NA. Since they can’t even get an inspection right, we will not be back for any type of service.

Ms. Sarah the service adviser for this group is Outstanding!
She listens and understands what the customer’s concerns are and processes their work order accordingly.
In my opinion she is one of the best in this male dominated field.

Great sales experience. Ask for Chris Wodarski. He’s in the Mitsubishi dealership but he can sell any of the used cars. Bought a Honda, fair and honest pricing, and a trustworthy salesperson.

Dear Mr. Schaller /​Mitsubishi Service Department
I am writing this letter to inform you of several things that have bothered my during my service visits to Schaller Mitsubishi.
I understand that times are tough, but it only made sense to me that I send you a note to make you aware of my experience at the service department. I had gone to a service station in Old Saybrook to get my inspection done. The technician had failed me due to some issue with the vehicle. So, I called and scheduled a service appointment. I arrived on March 5^th and 19^th to have my 2008 eclipse spyder looked at. I arrived and the car was taken in. I asked the service department if the dealership had WIFI on the property. The woman had told me, «No. But, you can walk over to the Honda dealer. They have it.» As a customer, I would expect Wifi at your place. Especially if you have it at the Honda dealer. This is a major inconvenience to not only me, but to many people. I could not do any work. Please look into this matter and set up an access point.
The other issues, coffee and Television. If you are not offering free wifi. Then please make an effort to have someone, anyone check the coffee. Maybe the service receptionist, a salesman, whomever to check on the coffee. Half the time, the salesmen are outside smoking, talking to each other. It would make sense to have one of them do it. On 3÷19÷12 I arrived at 8:30am. During this time, I gave my car in for service. I proceeded to try to get coffee. Nope. None left. As the hours and minutes went by I sat and watched one employee after another went to get coffee and there was none. They checked the jug and walked away. Seriously? It would make sense that someone would check it regularly during the day. Next, the television. It really annoyed me that in this day and age you only offer three channels? Really? Why is that?
Let me get this straight. If a current Mitsubishi owner who lives in CT has to come to your place (currently there are only 3 dealers in CT). They have to sit in the waiting area, with no wifi, no coffee, and no TV.
I sincerely hope you understand my perspective. As an Eclipse owner of several models over the years, I have never had such a negative experience at a Mitsubishi dealer.

I have no experience with Schaller’s car showroom, but I do, unfortunately, have experience with their garage. While I’ve always felt they gouge their customers somewhat price-​wise, I had no real qualms about their actual work on the very few occasions I’ve used them.
On the date of 02÷16÷11, I brought my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS in for strut repair and full diagnostic/​preventative maintenance, including replacement of timing belt. When all was complete, I had spent $ 2,170.67 on this repair. Four months later, my timing belt jumped, and my engine was destroyed. Upon hearing about this, the manager insisted I tow the car to his garage to CT from MA, the location where the car failed. The towing and rental car fees amounted to roughly $ 400.00, just to get the car to Schaller in CT.
I spoke with the manager in the garage (minus the tech, mysteriously) on June 24^th, where he showed me the damage, claiming the eccentric tensioner (part of the timing belt system) on the car failed, due to a sheared pivot bolt. I asked him why the bolt failed, and he could not give me a reason. He said he would «look into it» for me over the week, and let me know. Ultimately, they could not determine what happened-​or such was the official conclusion. They did discover major engine damage had occurred as a result of the timing belt failure, however, and would repair it free of charge «because they felt bad about what happened.»
Not bad enough, though, apparently. When the work was finally done on July 12^th (and I will state attention to my issue seemed medium, at best), I came into the garage to pick up my car, and when I did, the manager insisted that while I didn’t have to pay for the labor, I had to pay for the parts. He also informed me Schaller would not be compensating me for all the towing fees, thus bringing my costs up to above $ 700.00.
I know the belt system failure was due to faulty repair. This was corroborated by an active ASE Certified Mitsubishi tech in the field (not associated with Schaller) who said the only way the bolt could have broken was if the eccentric tensioner was bolted down without properly setting base tension.
CONCLUSION: To be clear, I’ve never, since 2003, had a belt problem with my car until Schaller worked on the belt system. Needless to say, I won’t be going back to this garage, and I highly advise caution if you intend on dealing with them. Based on my experience, they are deceptive, pricey and opportunistic in the services they provide.

Just bought a car there. What a pleasure! Great sales people and finance staff. I’ll never go anywhere else.
