We stopped in on a Friday around 6(we beat the dinner rush by about 30 minutes). The service was awesome and the food was excellent, however, I felt it was slightly overpriced for the wait staff to be wearing jean shorts and t-shirts. I highly recommend the kickin’ chicken! This place is a must try if you’re in Enterprise.

Off the beaten path in New Brockton. Love it. Good food and laid-back environment in the middle of nowhere. The steaks are huge and cooked perfectly. Make a reservation or call ahead, because it can get busy on the weekends. In a rush? Don’t come here on a crowded night. What restaurant doesn’t have a wait on the weekends? Kick back and enjoy the patio/tiki bar.

Hidden gem. I’ve eaten here at least 3 times. I’ve never eaten inside, because I enjoy the patio area every time. Dogs welcome in the court yard. Great staff, very friendly and chatty(interested and interactive). Beachy boho-chic style atmosphere; at first glance looks cheap, but it’s actually a fun environment. I would bring a date here. Wine and great, healthy food options. Food is superb and delicious every time. They have specials –off menu occasionally. I don’t hesitate to try something new each time. Great quality and fresh.

The best restaurant I have eaten at in the Enterprise area. Every dish our party had was on point. Good environment and pets are welcome outside. Will definitely be back.

I had no expectations going into this place. But boy was I surprised. We had a group of 9 people and sat on the patio on a Wednesday. It had a cool dive-bar/restaurant feel and the retro décor was quite interesting… in a good way. Now to the food and drinks: Pretty good beer and bar menu for a small place. My buddy’s favorite beer in the world is Ranger IPA; he lives in Hawaii and they don’t have it there, however, Frogz has it on tap! He got a pitcher for himself. They also have local Folklore beer on tap which is quite good – and for the loyalists, they have Yuengling. No one in our crowd ventured into the liquor menu so I can’t comment. The Food The appetizers are some of the best food on the menu. The bang bang shrimp had some of the best flavor I’ve ever tasted on shrimp – sweet and spicy. The dipping sauce was amazing as well – sour cream, pureed strawberry and pineapple – nice! The mussels were awesome as well. The alligator appetizer was the least impressive appetizer we tried. It was called«sauteed» but it was battered and fried, then sauteed with vegetables. It had a good flavor with everything together, but I was hoping for it to be cooked where you could truly taste the alligator and feel its texture. I had the frog legs meal. I was unimpressed with the flavor. The batter had a great flavor, but the meat itself was pretty bland. I recommend they find some way to marinate the meat before battering it. Everyone had the wasabi mashed potatoes and everyone agreed that they were THEHEAT! Amazing! I also had the brussel sprouts which were also amaze-balls! The Caesar salad was very fresh. The dressing wasn’t «creamy» but it was fresh-made and authentic. My buddies had the mahi-mahi, sushi-grade tuna, and beurre blanc scallops which were all very tasty. Michelle, our server was great and very knowledgeable of the menu and the owner Fred was very entertaining as well. Overall, we had a great experience and look forward to going back again and trying more menu items.

Every single food item tasted awesome and I’m not a big fish fan. Ban bang shrimp, alligator, mussels, scallops ate everything. Must come and eat here if I’m the area and the service was incredible! Oh and the mashed potatoes I could make a full meal out of.

We had a party of 7 in here on a Friday night, and the service was incredibly slow. Of course it was busy, so it was understandable to a point; however, our server kept saying things like«I’ll take your orders when I come back with your drinks», then bring our drinks and walk away. It took an incredibly long time for us to actually order and then receive our food. Anyway, we started with a few of the appetizers: the artichoke dip, the bang-bang shrimp, and the sauteed gator. The bang-bang shrimp were disappointing, tasting more like they had been tossed with a buffalo wing sauce, rather than a spicy and sweet pepper sauce. However, the chips that came with the dip were excellent, absolutely living up to the menu’s claim to be «fresh fried», and the gator was the star of the starters, the accompanying spices and veggies were perfect. For my entrée, I went with the crab cakes. They were good, not the most aesthetically pleasing but definitely mostly lump crab meat with very little filler. However, I was a little shocked by the $ 39 market price. I have no issue paying market price for crab cakes, but I expect more of a Maryland crab cake quality for that amount of money. Hubby and I split our plates, but as I cannot even remember exactly what it was he had(some sort of pasta dish with seafood), I won’t comment specifically on it. It was also good but forgettable. The absolute best part of the meal was the dessert. They have a homemade key lime pie, and I have no words to describe it. In general, I am not a fan of key lime pie. It’s pretty low on my list of sweet things I want to eat, but when our server described it to us, we had to order it, even though we were stuffed. It was phenomenal. I would come back to Frogz JUST for that. This was definitely a pricey meal, and I’m not sure if I feel that the quality of the food we ordered in its entirety was quite worth the cost; however, it was a very enjoyable evening. We sat and chatted long after paying our check and didn’t even realize that the staff had actually been cleaning up around us for quite awhile. It was right around closing, possibly even a little after, and they never made us feel like it was time to leave. The ambiance is definitely ideal for a cozy evening with drinks and friends. I think we’ll be back.

The food is incredibly tasty and fresh. The seafood beats most of the restaurants at the beach. With Frogz, you can get something awesome to eat at a local restaurant, far away from all the mainstream chains that make you feel bad. It has a great atmosphere and staff that make your experience unique and fun! We had a large group there one night and they were packed. Our food took really long to come out and the owner came over and told us that the bill was on him! He apologized that it took so long. It wasn’t an excessive wait and we weren’t disappointed because the food was so good. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Great good, service, and people!

This is my first week in the area for what will be a three month project and I’ll definitely return. I had the pasta special and the house salad and it was really, really good. The wait staff is well trained and efficient. Just the right amount of friendly service. I haven’t been to any other«local» restaurants yet but I’m betting Frogz is among the best.

I have eaten all over the world. I have eaten at the best of the best places in all the major cities, Seattle, New York, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, etc. I was shocked the first time I ate at Frogz. I was blown away with the quality of food and of course the taste. You can’t go wrong eating at Frogz. The steaks are the best you will find around the area. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff always makes you feel welcome.

This place was not at all what we were expecting, but certainly worth the trip. We ate a Cajun pasta plate that was made with fresh pasta and was delicious with Alfredo sauce served with scallops and shrimp. We also ate the crab cakes expecting the typical breaded patties and this was pure lump crab that was tender and delicious with a light remoulade. Service was outstanding. We will be back again.

Huge fan of Frogz! I have been eating there every time I am visiting the Ft Rucker area. They caught my interest the first time I went there when the told me that they couldn’t serve me the Ribeye with Black and Blue reduction sauce as the chef said their delievery of steak wasn’t up to his standards so he wasn’t serving any. Naturally, I had to go back and try it the following weekend. It didn’t disappoint, the best steak I’ve had bar none. Killer atmosphere, friendly people, and good music.

This place was great. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The menu has a good choice of seafood and steak. The steaks are cut thick and to order. My steak was a perfect medium. The mussel appetizer is very good and plentiful. If you are a WO tech or pilot, you got to support this place. Hip fun place with a friendly southern charm. It’s off the main road but worth the trip.

Tried this place on a date night with the husband. We were very pleased. Very nice chill atmosphere on the patio and the gentleman singing was awesome. Good was pretty good, husbands steak was a little over done but was still delish. Also pretty cool that dogs are allowed on the patio. We will definitely be back.

Recently we attended a wedding in Enterprise and the rehearsal dinner was at Frogz. The owners were very hospitable and although we filled their dinning room to capacity, all 65 of us, the food came out hot and delicious! Jim Neidert Central Wisconsin

It’s a nice atmosphere. It’s in BFE. it is pricey and the food didn’t really excite my tastebuds. Nice place for a date. Low key. Service was excellent. Might wanna take a credit card in.

Since I was in the general area for business, we were told that Frogz was the place to go for great food and great atmosphere. Well both were OK, but just that. The food had a good kick to it, but it seemed like all the dishes had a similar flavor. I got the chicken parm and my friend got the bang bang shrimp. They tasted eerily similar. Again, not bad, but the spice was the same for both. The service was actually really good and our waiter as especially friendly I think we missed the atmosphere piece since we ate inside and didn’t get to enjoy the outside ambiance. For the area, I would say its OK, but not sure the prices are worth it. This place is a bit off the beaten path, and kind of hard to find if you don’t have a GPS at night, but who doesn’t have one of those :) I would probably come back in the spring to sit outside and have a few drinks and appetizers only.

a nice place off the beaten path. This isn’t a bad place to eat. the food is good(not great). I think thier prices are a bit high for the quality. I like thier bang bang shrimp which is a pretty good replica of BoneFish Grill’s verison. The staff is very friendly and the food came fast. in all, i would eat here again. But while the food is easy to swallow, the prices are not.
