How much of a sales pitch can a person take! They try to sell you at any and every interaction slowing service to a crawl. Very frustrating
Then, 20 minutes of pre-​views. I’ll wait for it to come out on-​demand next time.

One of the worst theaters I’ve ever been to. The halls are dirty, seats reek of old food and there’s a general pungent smell of curry and onions in the the theater. Went in to see Spectre in IMAX. Totally destroyed the movie experience. AMC needs to renovate this theater yesterday!!!

This theater is incredibly filthy with extremely rude staff. Going to see a movie should be a pleasurable experience not anxiety ridden. The staff treat the patrons like cattle before entering and then once you’re able to find a seat there were bugs flying around. It was a disappointment!

Got tickets to the IMAX screening of In the Heart of the Sea. 15 minutes after the movie start time passes with no previews or movie playing, we had to go find the manager and ask them to start the movie. They finally play all the previews, but then the movie comes on in 3D. But we were all there for the regular listed screening, and none of us had been given glasses. So again, we had to leave the movie and go to find the management. They didn’t restart the movie. They just said, well come back to another screening. It is poorly managed.

Terrible broken dirty old seats, my back hurts after 2 hours! Cinema 11, Spectre.

Not my favorite theater. Quite big so you always get a ticket. Chairs and aisles are cramped. It was hard to get comfortable.

Ehhhhh. Only came here because I was meeting friends and we were going to dinner in a nearby town. You think they would have updated their theater like every other theater has. The chairs do push back a bit but still difficult to get comfortable (especially seeing a two hour movie). When we first arrived it was very smoky in the lobby. I don’t know if it was an issue with the popcorn or what. After you go into the theater area there isn’t a bathroom. You have to go back out to the lobby to use the restrooms. I didn’t have my ticket on me because I left it in my bag in the theater but the girl didn’t seem to mind. I just think its about time they update the this place.

I am a fan of this movie theater because it is easy for me to get to and it is never too crowded.
I have been reading the reviews given by others on this theater, and they are right. This is not the most well kept theater that you will ever attend, which results in this theater not being the first choice for watching a movie. However, if that does not bother you, then you can watch big name movies with smaller crowds, which leads to a better choice of seating and less overall disturbance during the movie.
In my mind, the pros outweigh the cons.

Very dirty and disgusting! Every seat was dirty! Paid for IMAX ticket to find out when I sat in theater that the movie wasn’t IMAX, or was it approved to be IMAX! Last time I will be going here. Did I say how dirty the seats are? !

Saw the movie Steve Jobs here last night. The mega — sized theatre, at its prime back in the late ‘90s, felt like one of the most modern theatres around with the stadium seating. Now? It’s a bit defunct with competitors like Starplex in East Brunswick offering the recliners and ample space, and the dine-​in option at Menlo. This theatre ranks a step up from the Regal down the block in my opinion. The foyer is huge.
Last night the theatre was quiet for opening night (a Thursday, but still a big movie). The attendants were friendly and overly welcoming, which was refreshing considering how automated everything is at movie theatres nowadays when it comes to tickets. I had purchased mine on Fandango and simply showed the attendant my phone. It was painless.
I won’t comment on the food because I’m not a movie theatre food gal, but I’ve always liked the design of this theatre with the food being centrally located in the huge foyer.
Despite the signs of aging at this theatre, it’s still a place I like to see movies at.

I remember when this place used to be considered one of the nicer movie theaters to go to. Wow. has that changed. Last Saturday was my first time here in a while and it was disgusting how dirty everything was. It was hard to find a chair that wasn’t stained and gross looking.

Most poorly ran theater ever. Understaffed, overcrowded, and zero customer service. Sadly AMC is going to ruin Starplex.

This theatre doesn’t deserve to carry IMAX movies. It’s begging for an upgrade. Not coming here again till its upgraded.

I’ve been coming to this theater for over 10 years, but they clearly have not spent the money required for basic maintainenance. I’m currently in Auditorium 1, and the arm rest to the left of me is broken, while the seat to the right of me has stains resembling bodily fluids and chewing gum. All of the other reviews are accurate… this place is disgusting. I’m writing this review whilst sitting in this filth, and my back is itchy from what may very well be bed bugs. (I sh Pou ld probably leave and get a refund for the $ 50 I spent on the movie and concessions.
To the owners of this establishment, I desperately plead with you to allocate capital expenditures towards maintenance, reconstruction, or at the very least, reupholstering. Coming to the theater to enjoy a movie has become an expensive pass-​time, and conditions such as these do more harm than good to the long term health of the movie industry. I’d much rather watch a movie in the comfort of my home purchased at a premium on my cable box before I ever come to this theater again.

I was excited, there was a car meet and movie night to see fast & furious 7… it was my first time at this theatre, plenty of parking on all sides of the building. i fandangoed my ticket three weeks ago knowing the possibility of it being sold out. they have kiosks to print out your ticket once you walking in to the right, i figured i do that incase they dont have a scanner or if the scanner was not working. I must say the amc imax was the best experience i had with a movie– image and audio. The seating was made so everyone would be able to see even if someone tall was infront of you. They reclined, and plenty of leg room, so worth the $ 18.55.
Con: i guess because of fast & furious 7 showing they had the rope lines thing going. People were lined around 8:30pm for a 10pm imax showing, and line had got rediculous around 9:30 pm all the way out the door.
Seems everyone in that long line ended up with good seats anywho, i know i did.

I just want to say that many give a bad review due to upgrade., ok, an upgrade would be very nice but, I love this theater! Why? Well!!! Excellent employees!!! That’s what counts!!! My daughter had a DR appointment today and I promised her an early movie. Insurgent IMAX 3D and with the wonderful staff we had mom & daughter time!!! The system was down and about 6 people couldn’t buy tickets., cash, Debit, Credit or by phone but, they let us in. After the movie we all went to the register to pay… All I want to say is the people were honest too because we could have walked out but, employees were even better!!! Thank u for making this day be a great day!!! Mom & daughter!, senior friends & others!!!

It has been a while since I’ve been to a theatre and I was certainly caught off guard by how expensive it was to watch a movie. Tickets to see a movie are around $ 15 per person. Let’s not even talk about the concessions stand!
The theatre itself is subpar. The seats are stained and old; however, they do recline so that you may sit back and watch comfortably. Also the parking lot needs a lot of work. There are potholes everywhere and just in a very bad state. On the other hand, the staff is very nice! Trade-​offs.

This theatre needs a major upgrade.
New black top in the parking lot.
Better seats so the arm rest comes up.
The should have dine in theaters (huge place for it).
More bathrooms
Better candy stand.
Finally get rid of the moths & flies in the theaters.

Avoid if you can!
The only reason why we went here was because the newer theater closer to my house with reclining seats were all sold out for the Sponge Bob movie, which my daughter wanted to watch.
So I purchased tickets on
as I figured AMC in NB will also sell out. I got to the theater an hour early so we can get good seats. After waiting in line for a long time, the usher asks us to wait to give us our 3D glasses! This defeats the very purpose of purchasing the tickets online and standing in line to get good seats. I protested saying I bought my tickets online and I could not print my 3D glasses. The other usher was nice and realized promptly the mistake they made and gave us our glasses and we were on our way. Even though we were the 3^rd group in the line, we got fairly decent seats, but not prime seats, thanks to the dumb usher.
The theater is dirty with stained seats and garbage everywhere. I think my kids understand now why I avoid this theater.

This is one of the dirtiest and oldest movie theaters I have ever seen.
I don’t even know where to start. It’s so outdated that it could easily be featured on a sci-​fi show where they go back in time to the 70’s. The seats are extremely dirty, ripped and stained. Don’t take my word for it though, take a look at the pictures.
The employees are slow and sub par. I think if you hire teenagers to run your theater you should also hire somebody who knows how to run a theater in order to supervise them. You want some popcorn? Are there 3 people in line in front of you? Well, you might be waiting for 15 minutes.
The parking lot is also an issue. It was basically falling apart and they had part of it closed off for a long time. I think only recently they stared repaving it. However, they’re only doing the bad parts, not the entire lot. So, essentially it’s still full of pot holes. Merging on RT1 is dangerous as you can’t see incoming traffic very well. The trench (way past pot hole status) right where you merge on RT1 doesn’t help either.
You would think that with the price of popcorn and soda at the place they’d afford to at least pave the parking lot, replace the seats, hire a cleaning crew, and get some employees that don’t take 5 minutes to fill a bag with popcorn.
Only go here if you have no other choice.
