You pay $ 7.50 for a fulfilling meal what more do you want? Honestly though does Chipotle even disappoint? Well, to me it doesn’t and neither does this location. The staff is also friendly(they greet you with a smile and just an overall positive attitude). I work in the downtown New Brunswick area and although there is a lot to eat around here somehow I find myself here more than any other place. It’s pretty big as well(there are two floors) and it’s spacious enough where I don’t feel like I’m on top of the other person. This location is very clean which adds to a better experience. It does get a bit crowded since for one, it’s located in downtown New Brunswick so you have the Rutgers students as well as a ton of people who work nearby coming over and ordering. You can’t beat the price and when you’re done head to Starbucks(right next door) for a little dessert.

Probably the stingiest Chipotle I’ve been to. Sauce bottles seemed a bit dirty and overall cleanliness of the restaurant was a bit concerning. The ambiance was«dirty» and the food was mediocre at best.

Can get a bit crowded with all the college kids, but the portions are decent. The sauce and guac are good. The service is quick and efficient.

Always crowded, alway a line, consistently good! The place is cleaner compared to other restaurants on New Btunswick area. But nothing extra-ordinary to brag about … It’s Chipotle!

As average as it gets to Chipotle, however this one is overpriced. Burrito bowl costs over $ 8(8.19 or 8.39 I believe) which is the same price in Manhattan. I don’t think they should be charging Manhattan prices just because they are near Rutgers… Service is friendly and quick though, and is conveniently located right by the train station.

I give up. I hate this place. My burrito always falls apart or my burrito bowl or salad ends up swampy with a small pond of water at the bottom(how is that possible??? Que lastima!). This costs 9 dollars. NINEDOLLARS. For 6 bucks and a quick walk up the street, I can get three authentic Mexican tacos at Fiesta.

I am a decent Burrito lover, and while I usually love Chipotle, this particular location falls short of what I have experienced in the past. For one, the portions in which this location supplies is less than average as compared to the many locations that I have been to. Especially with regards to the meat you choose, I feel as if I am given a children’s helping. And it is not just the meat department where they skimp you, it’s with the sides as well. The service, as always is pretty good, but the price and portions for the price are what turn me off at this establishment.

Okay, I’m one of Chipotles biggest advocates on this planet so let me explain my 3 star review. The atmosphere in this chipotle is actually pretty nice, it’s got 2 levels only downside is that it’s in a pretty inconvenient location all the way on George street. The reason for my 3 star review is that they gyp you soooo bad on portions. The one in Piscataway(approx. 15 min away from this one) is 1000000x better.

They’re pretty good, a bit more expensive than the Caribbean place, but right across the street and thus convenient. I’ve never had a problem with them. I always get the carnitas, except for the month they didn’t have it, in which case I got chicken a few times and then stopped going. I’m a free agent now, looking for other meal options. There is seating upstairs. It’s always busy, but there’s always seating, which is a point in their favor. I won’t go if there’s more than a few people on line, though.

I bet we can all agree on one thing: Chipotle may or may not be the best fast food restaurant around town these days. Whenever I want fast food Chipotle is my go to place. I’ve been to many different Chipotle’s and the food always taste the same to me — which is a good thing! However… the atmosphere not so much. I will start off by saying the staff behind the counter was friendly and worked really fast. But let’s get down to business: after we got our food we went to the condiments counter and that was a bit of a mess. First, there was only 1 tabasco sauce so there was basically a line for the tabasco. Next, there were particles of food on the counter which is just unpleasant. We sat upstairs and had to resort to a high top table because every other table was dirty. I don’t know about you, but I hate seeing dirty tables in a restaurant especially when it’s more than one table. It wasn’t like this was lunch time and the workers were swamped. so just a bit of a turn off. Lastly, the garbage on the second floor was over overflowing. Although we did go in the later evening, garbage should never be overflowing like that. especially when it’s in the customers view. Bleh. Over all Gave this chipotle 2 stars because cleanliness is extremely important to me… but if your having a Chipotle craving this spot will get the job done.

Went here for a quick dinner and the place was a disorganized mess. Tables were filthy, garbage cans were overflowing, and the the burrito«assembly» line was kinda gross too. Did not appear as clean as a typical Chipotle.

This is the Chipotle I go to often during lunch. The place gets busy and there are often long lines however the staff at this location works very quickly. There are also many employees so the ordering process is very efficient and streamlined. The food and ingredients are very tasty, fresh, and well prepared. The restaurant is well maintained and very clean. My only gripe is that sometimes the portions vary due to scoop size. Probably company policy, but I really like my bowl to be overstuffed. I usually seem to get less here than at other Chipotle locations. A very popular spot for people taking off for lunch, as it is only a walking distance away. No parking at this location.

The staff is always friendly, and even with the lunch-rush they are very efficient. I come here once every week or two so the food is ok. Nothing to write home about, and nothing to be upset about. I thought the steak was a little chewy, but it’s Chipotle, I don’t really expect much.

If I had exactly $ 10 left, I would spent it here. Chipotle is like fast food, but it is much healthier and tastes so much better than usual fast food restaurants. There were no Chipotles around my hometown, so when I first came to Rutgers, I literally came here at least once a week! Still, I’m not sick of it and come here occasionally! Sometimes, I even come here alone when none of my friends want to join me! Chipotle is very fun because no matter what you get, whether it’s a burrito, taco, salad bowl, or burrito bowl, you can be creative and create your own masterpiece by mixing whatever ingredients you like! My favorite is a chicken burrito bowl with corn, lettuce, tomatos, and grilled peppers and onions. Plus a side of guac! Back then, the bill will always be exact with no change, like $ 10, but now the law states that students are not taxed on food, which is perfectly fine with me! More money for me! This one is located at the perfect spot between Paterson and George! The workers are very friendly! The place is spacious — a lower and upper level! There’s always people here, but there was never a time when I can’t find a spot to sit! The only thing is that it can get kind of noisy and hard to chat when you have a big group of friends like 4 – 5 ppl. Other than that, everything is awesome!

I love this place. I actually just went there for dinner tonight. Atmosphere is nice, there is plenty seating area in the New Brunswick location. The place is clean overall. The food is just amazing. Their ingredients really taste fresh compared to some of the other fast food places I’ve been to. My favorite is the burrito bowl. I love how they have the sauces on the side. Nice touch in case I want something sweet or spicy. They don’t give a lot of food at this location though. There is a Chipotle in East Brunswick that charges $.50 for their burrito bowl, but they stuff it with so much food that it generally lasts me 2 meals. At this location, I can finish the burrito bowl and still feel a bit hungry.

Sometimes I think about swimming in a pool of chipotle honey vinaigrette. Their salad dressing comes from my dreams. Personally, I’ve never had a better kind of dressing. I’ve been to many a Chipotle and get the same thing every time. This is one of the most consistent tasting fast-food establishments I’ve ever been to. This particular one in New Brunswick has THE best customer service. One time, I asked for the manager to pay a compliment. The actual manager wasn’t there, so I spoke to a sweet young man who was the current shift manager. Friendliest service, they’re all young and chipper, nice portions and always consistent. You can’t ask for more.

Nice staff and good food. Never go at lunch time if you’re in a hurry because the line can be crazy. We order from here for lunch sometimes, we order online and pick up. so easy! They write everyone name on their food, boxed and bagged everything. The manager gave me his card in case anything was wrong and you can skip right to the front of the line since you already ordered. They don’t put any napkins or utensils in so don’t forget those! It sucks that you have to put the hot sauce in the small cups because it takes fooreverrrrr to come out of the bottle. Lots of seating inside and even an upstairs, pretty cool, people watch! I like that they have vegetarian options — soft tacos with black beans, cheese, lettuce, corn salsa, add peppers and onions. PERFECT for me. The burritos are huge so I can never finish them. Great place for cheap fast food.
