Metro Taxi

From experience I know that the ride from the New Brunswick train station is a $ 6-​$ 7 fare with this and other local cab companies. Well, today I got a «new guy» (his own words). After picking up myself & another fare he told me it would be $ 10. I replied by saying I wouldn’t pay more then $ 7 & if that was the case just let me out & I’ll get another cab. I tried to get out but the door was locked. He then said «pay what you want» & proceeded to pull away. I figured OK I’ll give him the usual $ 7 plus a tip & everything would be fine. He dropped the other fare off on the way & drove me to my house. Once there he started giving me a hard time about the fare. I tried to reason with him but he just cared about getting his money. Even after I reminded him that I had wanted to get out before we left the area by the station. I ended up relucantly giving him the $ 10 fare & then he starts yelling at me & insulting me as he’s pulling away. Shouting things like You stupid ugly American. you ugly bucktooth so-​and so. (what is he? 5??) From now on I’ll stick to the other local cab companies.
