Cassano’s Pizza & Subs

Cassano’s has the best pizza! My family moved to Columbus many moons ago, but before we moved this was our go-​to pizza. We try to get it whenever we’re in town, because there is just nothing else like it! Very thin crust, zesty sauce, and the perfect amount of toppings! One thing they do that sets them apart is that they salt the bottom of their crust, in order to prevent it from sticking to the pan. We always ask for light salt, as occasionally you will get a bit too much and it ruins the pizza (sad sad sad). I’m not even joking that I could probably eat a whole medium pizza by myself, because the crust is thin and it’s SO GOOD. Not that I wouldn’t regret that decision afterward, but what I’m saying is order one size larger than you think you will want!
We used to go to this location when it was in a stand-​alone building, back when they had a Ms. Pacman machine and a little novelty ice cream cooler. I may be showing my age here. Anyway, this newer updated location has a lot more room, including a party area in the back. It has lost a bit of the original character for sure, but overall it’s a bigger location with the same delicious product. If you live in the area, you should be eating this pizza!
