Coni’s New Carlisle Florist

Coni’s is a great place to do business with. I talked to Coni on the phone and ordered some flowers from her for a friends funeral. Someone at the funeral took some pictures of them and they were super.
If you are from out of town and need flowers in her area she is the one to get them from.

I just ordered flowers from this place for my father in law. The woman who answered didn’t have a lot of information for me. I told her my price range, $ 35.00 — $ 40.00 and she just said, «thanks, we’ll have them there tomorrow» after she took my credit card info.. I said, «can you email me a receipt and she said, «No, I don’t email» and I said, Can you tell me what the total is? And she said, «oh that will be $ 43.00». Hmmm… This was after she took my credit card over the phone. I asked if there was any candy offered or anything other gifts offered. She said, No, just flowers. This is a tiny little town, with one main strip. I would have paid to have her go to the corner store and pick up something with pecans in it or even a snickers bar. I told her my father in law loves candy. She didn’t offer. The flower shop is walking distance to the apartments where my father in law lives. I would have like a little more home town service options, or personal attention to details, but you can’t beat the price as long as it looks okay. I would have also liked a picture of the arrangement sent to me so I could see what I was getting. She said they have no web site to view arrangements so I really am taking a stab in the dark here. I don’t know if I would ever do this again. It’s just that I am in a pinch with having the flu and couldn’t get out to put a card in the mail. Maybe I’m just in a mood but this encounter didn’t brighten it up any. I hope the flowers do better tomorrow. :)

I have driven by this place many times; today I stopped in to pick up a few carnations. I was pleasantly surprised when told the flowers were only 50 cents each! I bought a half dozen in assorted colors. Stop in here for an inexpensive floral gift for yourself or a special someone!
