Their customer service staff is completely incompetent. They do an incomplete review of your account before they assume a response. They try to give you irrelevant or unrelated answers about their screw up. BECAREFUL when you go there and return equipment in person to close an account, they have the tendency to fail to turn services off and bill you. EVENIFYOUTHINK the account is satisfied, call to make sure before they send you to collections on an account that has been discontinued by you. I am so done with this company. Shady and careless! I give them zero stars!

note — This is my first time dealing with these criminals, so my poor review may partially be due to my lack of experience with telecommunications companies. — It was clear that I would not rent a modem, and the prices stated reflect this. As I entered this Comcast service center to retrieve my new equipment, I was shocked to see that they have copied the DMV’s system(which is notoriously unbearable). I had a twenty minute wait, which seemed to be reasonable. The previous day I received some contradicting information: the info i got directly from the call center and the info my wife received… so I had been looking forward to clearing this up with someone in person. My wife had been told that she could do the premium service(blast) for $ 55 and the lesser(plus) for $ 45. I had been told that the premium was $ 65 and anything less«wouldn’t really work»(I don’t know what that exactly means). After multiple calls my wife clarifies with them that we want the $ 55 package. I was surprised when the man behind the counter told me the plan was for $ 65. I asked if there was a cheaper plan, he said that it was really poor and I wouldn’t want it(what?). So I then asked if there was something in the middle and he said yes(plus) but it is more expensive than the premium. Their plans come with a 30 day guarantee, so I figured I would go home and sort this out with my wife and make any changes on the phone. After I got home, I checked Comcast’s webpage and it shows the exact deals my wife had been talking about. They did not even remotely resemble the words that came out of that man’s mouth. I then call the service center. The automatic system hung up on my twice after it understands that I am already a customer. I then call back as if I were a new customer. The women on the phone tells me that changes can not be made for 48 hours… so here I wait.

Usually the wait is fairly agonizing, but most likely the cold has kept most people inside. I waited approximately 20 minutes to return some equipment. The person who waited on me was Devona, whom was friendly, chatty, and performed quick service. Great job!
