First time I ever go into a DMV without having to wait. I came in to get a DE driver’s license, and was worried it would take me awhile. When I got there, there was no one there. I was literally in and out within 15 minutes! Super efficient and nice staff. Wish more DMVs were like that!

Could be your best friend or your worst nightmare.
If you come early in the day or later nearer to closing, you’ll probably not be waiting as long. If you’re anywhere in the middle, be prepared for lots of waiting around in the seating area. The staff is typically as efficient as possible, but sometimes there are more complicated scenarios that they have to figure out.
Inspections are usually efficient, though lines do get long.
As Sarah mentioned, great for people-​watching. EVERYONE goes here.

I was here twice in the last week. My car was totaled in an accident (other drive sited, not my fault) and I had to surrender my plates. It’s a great place to people watch. I hadn’t been to this location in years and it’s actually pretty efficient. It’s like the deli, take a number, wait for it to be called, then go up to the counter. The one thing I didn’t really like was that the place streams live on their internet site. The word public has changed and it means world wide now. Creeps me out.
